Joseph: Yess well you are about the only witch I trust and have a relationship with. Because you aren't like those who came before you.
Joseph: Good. I didn't think you would. She's practicing black magic. Sacrificial magic. Its not pretty. But she's very powerful.
Joseph: If we want Mercy's help, we have to involve Irina. If I ask Mercy without having talked to Irina, she'll be told. Like I said, they are very close.
Selena: I do what I can to not be a piece of trash. So far, so good.
Selena: True, I've been pretty good with my white magic. Good Lord. You'd have to be powerful for sacrificial magic.
Selena: Her hopes are gonna get up and I do have a quota on death threats from a single person.
Text → Joseph
Joseph: I'll run down any favors and people I might get some help from, but my list of witch-allies are small.
Joseph: Don't take it too far. Mercy Brewster. She's a good friend of my wife. Meaning I have to involve Irina.
Selena: Which is fair. I mean, my people have made your life a living hell for a century and a half. Greatest generation, my ass.
Selena: I won't, promise. I haven't heard of her.
Selena: What's the possibility that we won't involve Irina until absolutely necessary?
Text → Joseph
Joseph: Like I said, understanding.
Joseph: I suppose it is. You mean help from other witches don't you? And you think the council could provide that too, not just the grimoires and knowledge? Because I do know one witch, though her magic comes with a price. A very very high price.
Joseph: Alright. Ask and we'll just hope for the best.
Selena: I'll need all the help I can get with this. I've got a shitload of bargaining chips that might be of service.
Selena: I try not to flex favors with them, but my coven's still in good standing. Who's the witch?
Text → Joseph
Joseph: She shouldn't have done that. We're both lucky you are so forgiving and understanding.
Joseph: I would ask Irina to change me if I could.. thats been my main reason for not being in a hurry to break the link since we got back together. No I can't imagine this is all that normal. And your ancestors must have used other elements and a hell of a lot of magic to keep the link solidified and going for this long. You're probably right.
Joseph: And how do we know they'll want to help? This isn't their problem, and they aren't exactly known for making peoples lives easier. I do not trust them.
Selena: If I loved someone as much as she loves you, I guarantee I would have done the same thing.
Selena: That's another thing we could ask the council, if she could turn you. The super moon means my powers are at an all-time high so if they're able to solidify a link, I should be able to dissolve it, but I'm gonna need a lot of help. Even with the super moon, I can't do it alone.
Selena: Because my family's been in good standing with them for centuries. If I ask, I'm more likely to get it.
Text → Joseph
Joseph: Thank you Selena. Truly.
Josehp: However, we still have no idea of knowing what will happen if we are unlinked.
Joseph: But its worth the risk. Though I can't imagine my wife will be happy with me. But her life matters more than mine.
Selena: The only thing she did to me was threaten my life for not having better capabilities of my power. No big. I know a few people who'd kill me for a Klondike bar.
Selena: I'm hoping it's a best case scenario and you'll age normally. That's why I have to do research. Links aren't supposed to go this long. I think my ancestors used the last super moon to strengthen the link that made you immortal. If it was any other moon, I think you'd age fast.
Selena: All we're doing is asking how the council can help. They've got grimoires and centuries of knowledge that could help.
Text → Joseph
Joseph: No one is killing my wife. Period.
Joseph: How do we stop them? I hate to say it but there are other ways for you to practice..
Selena: I figured you felt that way and I'm with you on this.
Selena: There's one thing we can do. I can try to unlink us with the super moon.
Selena: Or I can go to the council for ideas.

Devon’s hands had been shaking the entire way. If she had been able to turn at this point, she would have burst long ago. Gone for a good long run before even contemplating this damn meeting. What the hell was she supposed to say? Did this girl think she had any claim on Devon’s family? Her best friend.. She’s going to be his wife. Ugh, the reminder made the wolf squirm internally as well as spiking the urge to yell at someone. Everyone. She couldn’t really say why she was going to meet this stranger. Curiosity perhaps.
Coming to a stop in front of the Shake Shack, Devon crossed her arms in front of her chest, which coincidentally made them rest on her big belly. The mix of nerves and hormones was not a good one, and she debated just going inside simply to state that this was a horrible idea, and then leave again. Sighing, she went inside, brows arching as a brunette stood up fairly quickly, asking for her. At first, the shewolf only rudely stared, taking in the girls appearance and trying to decide what that made her feel. A lot. A lot more than she should given that she was happily married.
“What tipped you off, the humongous belly?” She asked, lamely making a joke out of it as she walked over. “Yes that would be me.” She saw no point to adding false pleasantries.
Corrie had never been in this situation. What did one say? Hey, so I’m marrying your baby daddy. Surprise!Â
No.
Instead, she cleared her throat. “I’m Corrine Dubois, Viktor’s fiancee. Your wife Daphne texted me. I figured since I’m marrying Viktor, it’s only right that I meet you. I just wanted you to know that I don’t have to be anywhere near the baby if that’s what you want,” she said instead. Best to just clear the air. Corrie didn’t know Devon. Devon didn’t know Corrie. “I’m not one of those people who noses in where they’re not welcome.”

Joseph: Are you hurt?! What's going on????
Selena: I'm not hurt, but my ancestors are threatening to cut me off if I don't kill Irina.
Selena: I'm worried they're going to do something major.
“I’ve found my bracelet and now my necklace is gone. To make matters worse, I fell asleep at the library earlier and someone stole my socks. Like, literally off my feet. And left my shoes.”

Selena: We have a problem. Like, big, big problem.
“Did any other witch have the ability to perform a spell without ancestral help?”
“Can we do the quiet thing for a bit? This is the most quiet I’ve had in days.”

Issac looked up when the hand was placed on his arm, “Um, not on me. But I do have one in my apartment,” he said, pointing across the street to the apartment building he lived in with his wife.
“Would it be okay if I borrowed it? I’ll use it out here, I’m jut trying to get a hold of my business partner about orders and it’s so difficult to keep her on the line and my portable charger died.”
“I’m 21 tomorrow and I don’t know how to feel about that. I mean I’m married and everything but it finally feels like the last thing that officially makes me an adult. I have to accept that I really am an adult,” Adelaide was talking a mile a minute, but her smile wasn’t about to go anywhere. She had to admit that she was excited.
“Ugh, you’re so lucky. I can’t wait till I turn twenty-one. It’s gonna be such a bash.” Evelyn didn’t care about drinking; she’d been doing that since she was thirteen. Hell, she could fix a martini better than James Bond’s bartender.Â
supernaturallovers:
“Booze and ice cream?” asked Holly. “That sounds terrible. What kind of monster even thinks of such a thing?” She was having a hard time picturing it. In her mind, ice cream went with root beer. “Honestly, tourism is both the best and worst part about living in New Orleans.”
“Rum and bourbon is good, but vodka? No. Vodka is for juice.” Of course, Corrine had done her fair share of girly drinks. In her experience, she had gotten fucked up faster over the girly drinks than beer.
supernaturallovers:
“The key words there are supposed to” said Alexander. “But they have minds of their own, after all.”
“Sounds like a major hassle, if you ask me,” Selena responded. After all, wasn’t a vampire supposed to have that kind of power? This sort of thing gave her a headache.
