I never realized how overbearing, pushy and invasive Lush sales associates are until you are a single male in the store. Yes, I may be shopping for my wife, but that doesn’t mean that it is the case and doesn’t mean you have to hard upsell me on SEVEN different things when I went right to the conditioner and bath bombs I wanted to buy.

And, while I am not an introvert, I like a little more than 4 inches of personal space. Shit! I guess I never noticed it because they always decend on my wife first when we go in.

Don’t get me started on the two attempts at slathering my arm with… Stuff.

Look: You make good stuff. Just back the fuck off!

A few of the reasons I didn't enjoy working for Lush! I always tried my hardest not to be a pushy sales assistant however they used to encourage being pushy and in your face!
