Carl Jung is popular for his work done on personality types, you may have seen and taken this before. In my experience the test is very accurate and this depends on how honest you are with yourself and your interpretation of the credibility of the test relies on your understanding of the personality functions, for example, IT vs. EF (Introverted Thinking vs. Extroverted Feeling).

Carl Jung believed that the human psyche contains common motifs derived from universal drives, they are known as the archetypes. Each individual shares several of the archetypes but there is one that tends to be the dominating personality.

Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961)

Most widely known for “inventing” analytical psychology and his work concerning the unconscious of the psyche. His interpretation and transmutation of alchemical texts persist today and is the hallmark of his studies. He was a prolific writer and was as much of a philosopher as he was a psychologist. His true work can not be grasped in an overview because of the extent of his studies which include his theory of synchronicity, symbols and the interpretation of dreams, religious interpretation, the archetypes, “individuation”, personality types, collective unconscious and aspects of an individuals unconscious: The anime, animus, The Self, and the shadow.
