With his official enrollment in Ouran, Akashi had managed to met two out of the five of his ex teammates; with Tetsuya being his new room mate and the coincidental bump in with Daiki while he was exploring the campus grounds, leaving the purple giant and copycat. And maybe Tetsuya's prideful new light that he has had the pleasure to briefly meet a couple of times.

Tapping the 'Yes' option on his cellphone's screen, the Captain slipped the rectangular piece of technology back into his pockets as he continued on his way towards the lecture halls.

It was his first day as a transferred student to his class, and he would be expected to make some introductions of some sort to the rest of his peers; something the redhead wasn't keen on being late for.

Peering at the watched strapped onto his slim wrist, footsteps merely took bigger strides instead of rushing -- rushing were for foolish people who didn't know better than to have proper time management. And just as the subject of rushing floated into his mind, his Eye had seen the other male barreling towards him even before he struck -- and the athlete in him sidestepped away with skillful efficiency, sending the other falling forwards -- a blonde -- instead of bumping into him.

"Ryouta, I see you haven't changed much."

Having the last of boxes containing his belongings stacked in one corner of the common area, Akashi was satisfied at the least to say that the dormitory that was now his living quarters for the duration of his studies in Ouran was better than what he had actually expected.

Nothing less from one of the nation's best academies, the redhead mused as he brushed the tips of his fingers against the pristine, smooth walls. It was the only reason his father would have even allowed him to study here; as the heir to the Akashi family, it was demanded of him partake in only the finest, and it was no different academics-wise.

And although initially the Captain hadn't been happy about his father's restrictions, the main reason he had accepted was the knowledge of the rest of his ex-teammates, the Miracles' gradual appearances in this academy.

And speaking of the Miracles, he had yet to greet his dorm mate.

Akashi had heard and expected his approach even before the door opened with a soft click, the creaks of hinges and lazy shuffles of feet. A distant smile appeared across his pale skin, and without turning his head --

"Tetsuya," his voice was velvety, yet emotionless as he greeted the Shadow. "It certainly is a pleasure to see you again."

I've always liked rock, but not the really heavy kind. I've also recently started to have a preference for New Age music as well.

The last party I went to was the House Party at SGMUSO, Daniel's documentary opening. The next one? Hmm well probably the usual Christmas party, I suppose.

I wouldn't say I like my town, or city-state country actually, but I wouldn't say I hate it either. It's definitely my hometown, but I'm not liking how things are going in the past few years.

Really? The first question he asks during a ex teammate reunion is why he’s not in class and not things like ‘how have you been doing’ or things like that? Closing the jaws that hung loosely from the shock, Aomine swallowed thickly before averting guilty navy hues away from the piercing red and gold.

“Well you said it for yourself," the teen grumbled. Knowing Akashi, the crazy dude had probably gotten his hands on all of the Miracles’ schedules and had them ingrained in that ridiculously brilliant mind of his.

“Calculus is boring," as though he was trying to prove a point, the Ace chose that moment to unhinge his jaws, releasing a wide, open-mouthed yawn that caused the corners of his eyes to tear. "And it’s not like I need Calculus for basketball anyway.”

The smirk upon his face turned contemptuous as the basketball Captain turned his gaze onto the dark skinned teenager. "I see that college life has done nothing to cure the laziness and stupidity on your part, Daiki," the red head flashed a smile at his direction, albeit not reaching his dual coloured eyes.

"No, I suppose you do not need Calculus for basketball," Akashi agreed. He had not forgotten the fact that the power forward's style of basketball was often unpredictable and formless, like a blue thunderstorm. "However I will also have you remember that Calculus can be used to calculate the angle or distance of a perfect shot."

"But I gather that you would not be interested in me giving you lecture of how such a thing is accomplished," the condescending smirk dimmed a little as Akashi patted male on his back, the way an adult would pacifying a small child. "I will pardon this once, on the account of our reunion. But I will not tolerate this behaviour again, Daiki."

"As thrilled as I am to see you again, I'm afraid I have other things to attend to." Without waiting for the blue haired male's input in the matter, Akashi left one last pat on the Ace's back before going on his way. "If you'll excuse me."

“Tch," the Ace let out an irritated click of his tongue. It had been awhile since he last met him, and Aomine had almost forgotten how annoyingly observant the red-head was.

“Anyone would be surprised," he mumbled petulantly, not wanting to admit that Akashi had indeed surprised him with his sudden appearance in the middle of the school term. Then again, given the appearance of the Miracles in Ouran one by one, he should have expected Akashi to present himself sooner or later. Although he would have much preferred it to be later.

A slim brow was raised knowingly at the statement. One of the many things Akashi prided himself in was the fact that he knew each of his team mates well. Well enough to know that Aomine was merely putting on a brave front, not wanting to concede defeat in the battle of dominance. After all, he who shows fear, loses the battle.

"Oh? If you say so," Akashi chuckled dryly at the male's poor attempt of an excuse. It was clear as day that the shadows of his reign still remained in the power forward's memory, the discomfort shining painfully obvious from his nervous body gesture and accelerated heart rate.

"Which brings me to another question, Daiki," the red head continued. "Why is it that you are not in class at this hour of the day? If my memory serves me correctly, you currently have an ongoing calculus class since --" A slight pause as Akashi took a fleeting glance at the watch strapped to his wrist. "-- approximately seventeen minutes and forty two seconds ago."

“A-Akashi!" When the hell did he get here?

"Daiki." Akashi greeted curtly as dichromatic hues appraised his ex teammate, not missing the way the other's body had tensed at the sight of him. "You look like you've seen a ghost."
