Here I Am

Theres been times in my life

Where many things have been denied

I’ve fought pain an hurt an strife

I’ve always run and tried to hide

My life was such a mess

Fixing me would be a task

But that’s when I heard my lord say

All you need to do is ask

So here I am, with my arms open wide

Here I am, Jesus come and live inside me

HereI am, I’ll follow you in all your ways

I’ll serve you all my days, give you all my praise Lord here I am

Now when you think you’re all alone

And you just can’t win the fight

Remember God is on the throne

And you are precious in his sight

Now when you turn away from sin

For your life He has a plan

When you receive an let him in

You’ll see He’s the great I am

This could work

When I finally woke up I had it all figured out

First get some coffee in your cup and I’ll lay it all out

The left is out of control, term limits must be in place

It’s time we take a stand and stop them lying to our face

Not sorry if I offend you, everyone wants their own way

“ Hell yes we’ll take your guns “ yeah that’ll be the day

Politicians just get rich, doing nothing for the poor

Game players and liars all, someone kick Pelosi out the door

All can come to this country, anyone can stay it’s fine

We ask that you do it legal, be lawful and stand in line

Yes of course ALL lives matter, stop killing babies in the womb

How can you make schools safer by putting our future in the tomb

Three hundred and twenty seven million, the population of the United States

Give a million to every person, let us be in charge of our fates

Warrens health care will cost us Trillions, my plans cheaper don’t you see

Let everyone start out equal, One million for you and One for me

If you don’t know how to spend it, or don’t know how to invest

Don’t blame anyone else for your failure, the blame is all yours tap your chest

If we don’t raise wages or prices, we’ll buy homes a business or cars

Why you may just see this old redneck rubbing elbows with the stars

Aflat tax on income is easy, Ten percent is all we should pay

As April 15th used to haunt us, there will be no payments or refunds that day

You can say my plan is crazy but think about it if you dare

You may find it’s really that simple, we can all be rich Now that’s fair.

Let it go

This morning is very different than the ones that came before. I feel there's a fire inside me saying life's not over, there's more. For nineteen years I've been on pause, too many problems to dismiss, the fog has cleared revealing the cause, it's amazing I can feel like this. Living with unforgiveness buried deep inside your heart, is a weight I chose to carry which looking back wasn't very smart. Who wants pain, just let it go choose freely to forgive. I will no longer sit in misery with many adventures to live.

It’s all about you, not me

You know what makes me mad?

It’s seeing people with a frown

Deep down it makes me sad

Because their smile is upside down

Now hurry up and gather near

I’m about to start my show

I’ll make you smile so have no fear

Is my life great? Hell you’ll never know

I will stand on any table

I can dance or sing you a song

As long as GOD keeps me able

If needed I’ll do this all night long

GOD gave me all these skills

Making people laugh is a trip

I change their sadness into thrills

But I’m lonely GOD, now that’s a rip

Now GOD has brought me to you

To mend another broken home

Bringing laughter and love, that’s what I do

But when I’m done I always go home alone

My prayer is to leave you with a smile

So you know I really do care

My life being lonely is pretty vile

To never find love, that’s my cross to bear

My Search For Love

Sometimes in my life

Certain things get denied

I struggle through the strife

I’ve ran an tried to hide

As I walk along the sand

I look close at the wave

The soft touch of her hand

Is the feeling I crave

Her image is clear

It’s stored in my mind

I’m feeling she’s near

But her face I can’t find

She’s also alone

I know this is true

To her i’m unknown

But what can I do

Now I look to the sky

And ask myself why

If there’s a heaven above

Why can’t I find love

Mail Call

Darkness and loneliness fill my cell

With pain and fear to great to yell

I wipe away tears that no one can see

Waiting for mail to come to me

I pray so hard with my eyes raised above

Please GOD let me have a letter of love

We love you, we miss you , we pray you’ll be free

A treasure filled envelope just for me

Please bring me memories of joy I once knew

From family and friends with things that we’ll do

But the darkness and pain of my cell will prevail

As my name yet again was not called for mail

Day By Day

How many times will it take? What am I trying to find?

Can’t tell the real from the fake, these lies I’ve been told are unkind

I can’t get off this merry-go-round, forever in circles I ride

I’ll never plant roots, I’ll never settle down, there’s all fifty states I can hide

Never again will I open that door, never again will I let down my walls

My affection and love was just tossed on the floor, emotional train wrecks with too many falls.

I lost all my dreams and desires, watching my time as it slowly ticks away

I won’t trust them again, their all fucking liars, I’ll just take the rest of this life Day By Day.

C- NOTE , small bio

I’ve gone through some pretty tragic events in my life, to the point of 3 attempts of suicide. I was married for 20 yrs, beautiful house , beautiful wife and two adorable girls. Lots of money and lots of recreational drugs. As the girls got older I told the wife it’s time to quit the drugs. She had other plans, serve me with an Order of  Protection an move me out of the house and the drug man in. That’s when my life went to hell. I’d plan on being an actor early on in life, was a stunt man then became a disc jockey but life happened and all my dreams were shattered. Having been emotionally and mentally abused by the wife and 2 attempts to kill me by her drug dealers caused me to lose my fucking mind and my direction. All of my poetry comes from a traumatic event. I did divorce her and got full custody of my girls and raised them as a single parent. I’m still single and now have four grandchildren. With my poetry I want my girls and grandchildren to understand is that no matter what life deals us it’s all up to you as to how it ends up, so I made beautiful poems to explain it all. I hope you will read them and if you can relate to any of them then you know you’re not alone and maybe you will find something that can help you. Deceiver

I remember that day long ago you decided to bring me home

It wasn’t that I had no place to go all over this world  I’m free to roam

You started out easy, a little at first then you used me more an more

Your craving for me was like water for thirst, not even a clue of what Hell had in store

I captured your soul and crippled your mind, creating a pain you’ll never forget

I destroyed a family once loving and kind, I’m ruthless and cruel I have no regret

Your family was mine, I could do as I please, wanting you buried under six feet of sod

Then the day came and you fell to your knees with prayers to the one whom you call GOD

Your GOD has saved the girls and your life, he snatched you away from certain death

I may have lost three but I still have the wife, I’m evil, I’m Satan, I’m meth
