The Color Final is done! Sadly some areas are a bit rushed but all in all I’m pleased by how it turned out. I hope you guys can enjoy some character designs inspired by a Lionfish, Swordfish, Orca, Great White Shark, and Leafy Seadragon.
It’s been awhile! Art school has been kicking my butt in the best way but…. Here’s a sketch!
This is my in progress Orca Oc for my color theory class! If anyone wants to hear the story I came up with for the assignment I’d be glad to share
How long have you been drawing, what made you decide to start and how does your first drawing compare to your most recent? For me, I started in June 2023, and it was because I thought drawing my own characters, my own worlds, and my own stories was super fun! And I liked the idea of drawing my favourite characters. As for my first and most recent drawings?
1st Most recent
I'm glad I don't draw like I used to, the flaws in my old art bother me a LOT, and I think it was really cringe. Also, my first OC was a Mary Sue and that's a level of cringe I can never live down bro, lil jit was COOKED
You’ve improved a lot! In all honesty I started drawing young but I’ve never had professional classes or any thing. I actually grew up in the hospital so drawing was a way to have fun in a pretty dreary room. Though I didn’t know it was what I wanted to pursue until 8th grade and now I’m going to art school in 2 weeks.
Here’s my art a few years ago (4 or so)
Then maybe 2-3:
And you’ve seen now minus my traditional/semi realism style. But art is just a weird but interesting journey! As long as you enjoy it that’s what matters 😊
My favorite commissions so far!
