You already bought the record. Like, he has the money. Breaking the record is just the same as giving him money and getting nothing in return. I mean I understand that you don’t support Jake anymore and fine whatever, with the shit going around about him I understand that. But this isn’t doing anything but wasting your money and ruining something that you once enjoyed. If you don’t want to support him you SHOULD have given it away. That way someone else wouldn’t have to pay for it and he won’t get that money. I just don’t see the logic behind this at all.
Tbh this just seems disrespectful to me. Like yeah, he’s not a great dude, but more likely than not a lot of work went into making this vinyl, from multiple people. Plus, for some people, the music is what matters- not the artist’s personality. I’m not saying that’s the case for me, because it isn’t, but you have to understand that there are people out there with views other than your own. Someone could have really enjoyed this probably, but I guess you’re getting enjoyment from the fictional internet points this has brought you.
