reading the three body problem by liu cixin (tr. ken liu) and my thoughts are

1. wow this book is hard to read (positive)

2. WOW this book is hard to read (negative)

3. buddy you gotta be more creative than calling every woman a "slender beauty"

4. why is the netflix version so much more western when a core setting of this novel is the chinese cultural revolution? i like the adaptation for what it is but i feel like it changes make it just a different story

HJ and Madelaine friendship is really fun.
