C4Cyber selected to advance to Round 2 of the InvestMaryland Challenge!
C4Cyber was recently chosen from a field of 214 entrants by a group of successful entrepreneurs, investors, educators, and other professionals in Maryland’s entrepreneurial community to advance to Round 2 of the InvestMaryland Challenge . C4Cyber was 1-of-10 companies chosen to continue competing under the Defense and Security category and was 1 of only 2 Virginia-based companies selected to advance. C4Cyber will next participate in face-to-face interviews with judges, after which the field will be narrowed to three finalists per category. The in-person pitches will be held on 17 March, 2015 and winners will be announced later in the spring.
Beyond the $100,000 top awards, prizes include two incubator spaces at the Army Research Lab valued at $75,000 each; increased access to potential investors; a $10,000 grant from the Eastern Shore Entrepreneurship Center and Rural Maryland Council; and more.
