sorry for complaining but the way this has been normalised in fanfics/art here on tumblr is insane
likes don't do anything, reblogs do. reblogs get the work out there, shown to other people, shared, appreciated. only liking a post is gatekeeping it and stopping the creator's work from being shared to others and it kills us inside and makes us so unmotivated to write again
actually, reblogs are as important as likes because it gives artists visibility . several times i discovered an artist through someone’s reblog on here so you can tell it really helps

painter! suguru who has retired from painting, but still holds that creative spark at his old age, he regrets not painting some of his ideas for his bodies of work.
painter! suguru, who in his last moments, who tells you this: “dearest, however you see fit. you can keep the art or have others see what i have created throughout my life. i do not care. i just want to see others be happy.”
painter! suguru who’s last words always play in your mind when placing his art somewhere.
✎ᝰ ∿ the smokestack twins as nerds (lowkey losers) !!!
♡⃕ ∿ ft. nerd!elias “stack” moore && nerd!elijah “smoke” moore
♡⃕ ∿ genre && warnings: fluff ! stack is lowkey (highkey) a smart ass, both men are geeks but one refuse to admit, smoke uses anime as flirting ?? lemme know if I missed anything
♡⃕ ∿ a/n: was this me wanting to combine all my interests as one ?? well yessss 😁
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, the historian genius of his circle. he’s so enwrapped in the past to the point where no one can go a day without hearing, “you know on this day”, even if it’s just to say that this was the day that something miniscule was invented. though, his pride in his knowledge heightens when he’s asked about black history. since a youngin, smoke has immersed himself in learning, reading, and researching the history of his own people
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, quiet, composed, but unnoticed, he can become quite the chatter when asked a simple question about a historic event. he usually gives you a straightforward answer and ends it there. however, when asked about an event that he has such passion for, his answers become lengthy, and you end up learning more than you need to
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, has a glass case in his home with various genres of nonfiction books. wars, inventions, especially politics, and don’t try to say he’s wrong about a fact either cause he will pull up the exact source he found it from
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, outside of history, and a little bit of physics, he’s a bit of a comic book nerd. then again, he’s always been one to keep himself deeply wrapped in any sort of literature; graphic novels, science fiction, informational, he enjoys spending his time reading
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, superhero and anime nerd through and through! especially anime; he’ll geek out and explain the power system of just about any and every anime/manga he’s into at the moment. stack usually likes to tease him about it, but smoke don’t be taking it to the heart (cause stack is lowkey worse)
⋆˙⟡ nerd!smoke, when explaining an anime and its character, he has a sort of charming lilt to his voice. he knows how complicated this sort of media can get when explaining, so he breaks it down into something you can understand. he doesn’t dumb it down or make you feel dumb when explaining; instead, he starts with a simple example, typically a battle between two characters, then smoothly moves over to breaking down each character’s powers and how it affects the battle. add a couple of deep chuckles, small smiles that show his pearly whites, and hand gestures (that usually never help, but it does help when you notice the slim, gold rings on his hands. but that’s neither here nor there !!)
꒰ curious ❀ curiouser .ᐟ ꒱
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack, booksmart, streetsmart, everything smart and highly cocky about it. it’s hard to have him be wrong about something cause he knows the answer to just about everything (almost everything). even when he’s blatantly wrong, he won’t admit to it at the moment; instead, he’ll brush up on his incorrect statement and prove his knowledge again. even the most trivial, minuscule debate will turn into a heated blowout cause stack refuses to back down until you give up
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack that you can rarely ever win against in a debate. his deep knowledge always gives him the upper hand, and it doesn’t help that he’ll school you on whatever you were wrong about. sometimes he’ll do it to prove how intelligent he is (again), and other times he’ll do it so you’re not providing misinformation to him again
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack who, when not being a cocky prick, can be quite helpful whenever you’re confused on something. don’t get me wrong, he’ll joke about it at first, but then he’ll provide about three different methods that could help you understand better. he likes it when people gain more knowledge through and not use him as a cheat sheet
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack, even though a genius of many things, he has the greatest set of knowledge in mathematics and science. he finds himself studying people more often than he needs to and uses that to his advantage
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack, who can’t help but turn everything into a hypothesis. trivial or not, everything in this man’s life is an experiment to him, and you can’t fault him for the hypothesis being right almost every single time. the same amount of passion his brother had for history and literature, stack has for science. every subtopic of science, stack has found himself delving into; from the times he performed absurd experiments in his childhood backyard to him in college doing deep research on a physiological theory that has yet to leave his curious mind
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack, similar to his brother, is a geek at heart; classical literature and video essays about superheroes are his guilty pleasure!! as much as he jokes about smoke and his obsession, his walls are covered in his favorite heroes and villains; he studied people for too long not to support at least some villains (please don’t ever ask him about jason todd or omni man). figurines standing on shelves, certain pieces (i.e cap’s shield, batman’s batarang, etc), little pins kept in a vintage venom/spiderman mug; all of this and he will still call his twin brother a “loser”
⋆˙⟡ nerd!stack who likes to use his expertise on superheroes and gets into constant debates with smoke about who is more skillful with their powers or who will win in some wild, crossover 2v2 battle. sometimes to get under his skin and other times to use this as a brotherly bond (still annoys smoke though)
♡⃕ i hope someone out there catches the title. you know ball if you do
♡⃕ I wanted to incorporate mbj’s love for anime so why not do it with one of my fav roles of his ? he looks saurrrr mf fine when he gets to talkin bout anime 😋
♡⃕ hope you guys enjoy my sinners debut 🫶🏾. imma go watch the movie again byeeeeee
⡴ gym teacher!sukuna has an embarrassingly known crush on school nurse!reader
lowkey wanna turn this into a full oneshot
if he heard one more twelve year old’s squeaky voice whispering to one another, saying he’s ‘got a crush on the school nurse’ he swears he’s gonna write up the whole grade.
god, it’s even worse when one of the eighth grade girls come up to him when he’s on lunch duty.
“mr., mr. ! did you know the nurse mentioned she likes tall guys when i went into her room for a tylenol !”
“what does that have to do with me ?” he grumbles, scrunching his face while the girl and her friend stare up at him.
“well everyone knows you like like her—”
“GO SIT DOWN!”
he swears the whole lunchroom conveniently goes quiet when he yells that as the girls squirm away back to their tables and start whispering around gossip.
and even worse than the girls that draw hearts around you and sukuna’s staff photos next to eachother in the main office, he’s got gojo. gojo, who ships you two and nags him like worse-than a middle school girl. gojo, who shoves you two together for any school event.
“what game do you have planned for tomorrow?” you ask, leaning over to whisper to sukuna as eighth grade awards are called for each subject, timing claps inbetween your words while names are called. you smirk, “how many kids am i gonna have sent my way next time?”
“just dodgeball.” he leans down to whisper flatly against your ear, still staring down a kid giggling in the seating rows of the auditorium and effectively getting him to stop with his gaze.
“your version of dodgeball is basically to the death, i might have to have paramedics in my room on standby.” you joke, turning to smile at him so sweetly. in his mind, this counts as him making you laugh and therefore counts as a win.
he chuckles lightly, just a quick huff of his chest, but essentially the hardest he can laugh if he’s not looking at a kid getting tackled in class. “these kids will toughen up eventually, i am just teaching them to do it early.”
“were you a weak kid that needed to toughen up? i can really only picture you as a big scary dude.”
“i was actually a severely malnourished child due to my mothers impoverished state during her pregnancy.“ he says, truly not realizing how solemn he sounds in his voice even as he means it as a light hearted jest.
you blink at him, face contorted in confusion and awkwardness. he wants to hit himself.
the only thing that saves him from not saying anything stupid again is the end of the assembly, marked by gojo yelling into a megaphone and for kids to round up by homeroom.
the following week he’s still embarrassed to even look you in the eyes. he’s mulling over how stupid he must’ve looked infront of you while sifting through the equipment closet.
he hears steps echo throughout the currently empty gym before he yells out.
“gojo i’m not covering your lunch break, fuck off—” he turns around to not see the usual suspect he finds during his free period. instead, he sees you, leaning against the door in scrubs and white coat clinging to your body. he stills in his motion.
you speak before he can (if he can speak at all in his embarrassed state).
“i understand the confusion, he bothers me all the time too.” you dismiss, smiling at him with your glossed lips he probably thinks about hourly. waitwaitwait, gojo talks to you all the time ? he’s going to kill that lanky fuck. “just wanted to drop these off for yuri in your next period.” you jostle around a pill bottle in your hand, “she can get fainty on gym days so give these to her just in case to help prevent that.” he knows it’s your job and all, but your concern is honestly kinda cute.
“uhh yeah i’ll be sure to.” he nods, right as you drop the bottle on top of a stack of rubber cones by the door before you walk out. and he would just like it to be known he definitely didn’t stare at your ass as you left.
and he typically makes it easier for himself to deny how down bad he is to you, but now, after you spent a week of saved up sick days out last week, he’s kind of craving your voice. so who can blame him when he calls his 6th grade nephew into his office while he’s supposed to be at lunch.
“look, kid. i’m going to need you to do something, and i’m gonna need you to not be annoying about it, kay?”
yuji furrows his brows, fiddling with the strings of his hoodie.
“you,” he gestures to his nephew, “are going to act like you collapsed and let me bring you up to the school nurse. you are then going to be quiet when i talk to her.”
“is it cause you have a crush on her—”
sukuna tenses before cutting him off.
“do a good job acting and i will consider buying you that human earthworm blu-ray. do you hear me, brat?”
yuji’s eyes light up at the mention of the dvd.
“is this impression good enough then?” yuji leans and clutches at his side in fake fatigue while moaning dramatically for help, then immediately straightens up with a smile like he’s waiting for a rating. sukuna shakes his head and genuinely wonders how he’s related to this—in sukuna’s words— pea brained doofus.
he dials your number on his offices phone, sitting tense in his chair while he shh’s yuji. yuji nods and salutes as sukuna continues to roll his eyes.
yuji could’ve sworn he saw him smile when you pick up. he continues to watch sukuna fiddle with the curled wire of the phone as he explains yuji’s apparently dire situation. he can just barely hear the muffled sound of you saying ‘just bring him up and i’ll check him out.” over the speaker of the phone before sukuna hangs up and fixes his hair.
sukuna walks out the door and desperately tries to ignore yuji’s terrible post fainting impression behind him as his nephew follows his step to your room.
just before they step into your room he whispers to yuji as he leans over.
“if you can bring up me being single i’ll take you out for ice cream, brat.”
husband!gojo who peers into the kitchen like a cat just hoping to snatch the baked goods you make off the baking tray.
husband!gojo who pouts whenever you swat his hand away from the delicious treats resting on the cooling rack.
husband!gojo who loves to bake with you because it means he gets to lick the cookie dough or icing off of a spatula.
husband!gojo whose nose scrunches in concentration every time you give him a cupcake or a layer of cake to cover in a thin coat of your lemon buttercream frosting. he takes a strange amount of time to pipe delicate details onto the cake, purely because he likes your praise.
husband!gojo who loves to make heart shaped cookies just because you find it sweet.
husband!gojo whose social media feed is filled with pastry chefs teaching their audience how to make desserts or how to elevate certain dishes, he secretly saves them hoping to make something for you.
husband!gojo who loves it whenever you make any kind of cultural desserts you have.
husband!gojo who gets frustrated with his egg whites not reaching the optimum level of fluffiness like yours do.
husband!gojo who surprises you with cool gadgets to make your baking process a lot smoother.
husband!gojo who only gets the freshest and most expensive ingredients to fuel his mild (strong) sugar addiction.
husband!gojo who squeals like a school girl whenever you pack a snack into his bento box, and practically combusts when he sees the cute note you write him.
husband!gojo who loves taking you on trips and especially loves going food tasting outings with you.
husband!gojo who makes a private Instagram account just for the two of you to post your food reviews or silly time lapses of both of you navigating a new recipe.
husband!gojo who looks fondly at the poor attempt of the ‘blind, mute, deaf” challenge video the two of you made for fun.
husband!gojo who got you matching hello kitty aprons.
husband!gojo who never ever lets you do the dishes because after all you did spend nearly a day making the perfect eclairs for him to suck up like a vacuum.
roommate!kuna who always keeps you company whenever you’re in the kitchen cooking, talking about his day or sharing childhood memories.
roommate!kuna who gets mistaken as your husband by an elderly woman at the supermarket after she sees how naturally you two interact. Neither of you corrects her because you’d both feel bad if she found out the truth.
roommate!kuna who casually says “we” whenever he talks about the future.
“We should adopt a cat.”
“We should visit your parents this winter.”
Every time he says it, your stomach does a little flip.
roommate!kuna who asks for your opinion on what to wear, standing in your doorway with nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Of course, you don’t stutter or you just stare a little longer than you probably should.
roommate!kuna who you absolutely can’t stand during your luteal phase. You’re irritated when he speaks, annoyed when he breathes, and somehow everything he does gets under your skin. Yet all you want is to be in his presence 24/7 cuddling him, kissing his cheeks, and soaking up every bit of his attention.
roommate!kuna who realizes just how attached he’s become to you, so he starts distancing himself. It’s a cycle he can’t seem to break one minute he’s all over you, and the next he’s nowhere to be found.
roommate!kuna who comes home drunk one night, gets down on his knees, and practically begs to kiss you. Who are you to refuse an offer like that? One kiss turns into making out, and before either of you knows it, things go much further, let’s say he kissed your other lips
roommate!kuna who finally decides to make things official by taking you back to the very first place you visited together as roommates a small Chinese restaurant near campus. The date wasn’t planned; he was simply tired of you not being his, at least relationship-wise.
husband!Sukuna is the type to wrap himself around you and big spoon you so tightly at night, that you wake up drenched in sweat, with tingling of pins and needles in your legs compressed between his, and his soft breaths tickling your neck.
husband!Sukuna is the type to actually wake up at 6 am just to feed your clumsy little cat, who somehow prefers him over you (she thinks Sukuna is her big biological cat mother).
husband!Sukuna is the type to pretend to be full when you’re eyeing his food at the restaurant, just to hunt down the fridge later at 3 am and finish all your meal prep for the week.
husband!Sukuna is the type to pick you up by the waist in a large crowd and hold you that way for a few moments, just so you can see what’s happening in the front.
husband!Sukuna is the type to pretend he’s getting annoyed by you tracing his tattoos, but he secretly loves it so much that he finds excuses to want a ‘massage’ just to have your hands on him after a long day at work.
husband!Sukuna is the type to flick your forehead when you’re disturbing his sleep, just to plant a peck on the spot right after you glare at him.
husband!Sukuna is the type to bring home a random assortment of Lush bath bombs ‘for you’, just to find an excuse to use the extra ones himself.
husband!Sukuna is the type to stare at your face, looking up like a little puppy for the entire hour you’re helping him touch up his roots because he loves getting pampered.
husband!Sukuna is the type who walks around at home wearing only boxers, to the point that the neighbour from the opposite building never opens their curtains anymore.
husband!Sukuna is the type to trigger your anger because he knows your weak spots and loves it when you get mad at him (it turns him on)
husband!Sukuna is the type to keep damaging too many locks and door handles around the house because he accidentally uses too much force to open them to impatiently get to you.
husband!Sukuna is the type to try a new recipe he learned and force feed it to you, even if it has terrible seasoning ratios, because he wants your honest feedback (he just wants you to not skip meals)
husband!Sukuna is the type to not want kids, but secretly wants to see your pregnant belly someday after seeing you handle his annoying niece surprisingly well.
husband!Sukuna is the type to lounge around you between his sets at the gym, waiting to slap any creepy man who looks at his wife with bad intentions.
husband!Sukuna is the type to secretly memorize the name of the setting powder you ran out of, just to cluelessly stand in Sephora while the staff insists on helping him (he wants to tell you he found it himself later)
husband!Sukuna is the type to carry you bridal style to your room while you’re passed out from fever medications and stroke your hair with his big hands, accidentally knotting a few strands.
husband!Sukuna is the type to end the evening by laying his big head on your belly, mumbling in his sleep, because he says he loves the warmth but he secretly just loves getting babied by you.
a/n: not proofread!
+1 i unhealthily yearn for a yearner like soft sukuna plssssss lordddddd 😩
Your fingers dance over the large, pale ‘X’ that stretches across Suguru’s chest. He glances at you, watching the way you carefully trace your fingers over the surface of the scar, worried you may hurt him.
“I’m not made of glass, you know,” he chuckles, large hand coming to rest on the back of your head as if to cradle it as you stare at his scar in what he hopes to be awe. You roll your eyes, moving to press your lips against his scar.
Suguru’s breath hitches; his eyes stay focused on your lips as they slowly pull away from his chest. Your thumb moves to caress the healed tissue while you tilt your head to look up at him, “You’re so brave, y’know that?”
Your words ring in his ears. Brave.
“You’re delusional.” He quips back, a smirk creeping onto his face to hide the subtle shame bubbling beneath his skin.
“I’m serious,” you continue, “You’ve been through so much, Sugu, you’re the bravest person I know.” Suguru rolls his eyes, ignoring the way his lip trembles as he replies, “Yeah, yeah, just go to sleep.”
You nuzzle closer into his side, “You were a child up against a grown man, Sugu. No one blames you.” You said it so casually, as if it were a known fact, but to Suguru? It was as if he were hearing those words for the first time.
“I know that.”
“Do you?” You lifted your head, raising a brow at him. He pushed your face away with a sigh, “Just go back to what you were doing. It felt nice.”
You hummed, thumb soothing over his scar once more. “It kind of makes you look hot — hotter, I mean, like a warrior or something.” You mumbled, eyes already fluttering shut.
Suguru hummed, “Yeah?” hand moving to soothe over your back as he lulled you to sleep.
You replied sleepily, “Yeah. It reminds me to be thankful for you — I mean, I always am — but thankful that you survived the that day and all the days after.”
The room eventually fell silent, aside from your rhythmic breathing as sleep claimed you. His hand stilled on your back as he stared at the top of your head, feeling your chest rise and fall with every breath.
Thankful.
You were thankful for him.
For years, Suguru had seen that scar as a tarnish, it had been an ugly reminder of how weak he had been — how he had failed her.
But you looked at it from a different perspective.
You saw it as him overcoming everything that had been thrown at him. You didn't see that weak version of himself he sees, no, you saw someone who was brave enough to continue on even after what he went through.
His hand brushed absentmindedly over the scar. He pressed his lips to your hairline and muttered, “You’re unbelievable,” and a smile etched it's way onto his face.
You were still curled up next to him, shifting in your sleep. Suguru pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.
And for the first time in what felt like years, Suguru felt the weight of his grief lessen.
To most, Kento Nanami was what you could call a workaholic, constantly filing Gojo’s paperwork, taking up long missions, and all around a dependable sorcerer.
That was until your daughter came along. Now, all of a sudden, Kento Nanami didn't have time to do paperwork, or take up last minute missions, he barely even went overtime on most days too!
Nanami preferred to spend his days with his baby girl, whether that was teaching her how to read, taking her to the park, or even playing tea party with her.
Whenever you left for work, Nanami and your daughter would sneak off to the shops to pick up whatever cookies, cupcakes, or mochi she wanted for the tea party. He even made sure to buy different varieties of flavoured milk as ‘tea.’ By the time you came home each day, everything would be cleaned and wiped down so you'd never suspect that your oh-so sensible husband was playing dress up while feeding your six-year-old sugar daily.
Until today…
Your shift had ended earlier than usual, so you had decided to surprise your husband and daughter, stealthily entering the house and sneaking over to her playroom. As you nudged the door open, the scene in front of you was almost baffling.
Nanami knelt in front of your daughter's pink play table, while she sat in a tiny matching pink chair across from him. She had been put in a poofy, blue princess dress, colourful plastic jewellery decorated her arms and neck, and a pretty tiara sat on her head. Nanami was dressed in a white suit with a blue tie that seemed to match her dress, and on his blonde head, another tiny tiara sat.
You stifled a laugh as you watched their tea party unfold. “Would you like some more tea, Papa the Princess Mermaid?” She grinned, shakily holding an extravagant toy teapot over her tiny teacups. Nanami nodded, “I would enjoy a second helping, Your Highness.”
Although you couldn't see his face, you could practically hear the soft smile in his voice. Your daughter clumsily poured what seemed to be chocolate milk into her fathers teacup, before moving to refill her own, spilling a little while doing so.
The two of them raised their cups, pinkies up and out as they clinked the plastic cups together.
This time you couldn't help the giggle that escaped you. The two of them whipped their heads towards the door at the sound, Nanami almost spilling his chocolate milk while doing so. “Honey? You're home early,” he smiled, weary of your reaction to the numerous cupcakes sitting on the table.
“Mhm, work was slow so I was able to leave earlier. What're you two up to?” You questioned as you walked into the room, plopping down beside your daughter and pressing a kiss to her temple.
“Mama!” She squealed, clinging to your side, “Me and papa are having a tea party again!” She happily pointed to the table, which was littered with finger sandwiches, cupcakes, and spilt milk. You hummed, “Is this what you two get up to when I’m away?” Flashing a teasing smirk at your husband, whose face now matched the colour of the table.
He cleared his throat before speaking up, “Well, now that you're here you have to join in.” Nanami smirked, gesturing for you to grab a teacup. “Wait no! Mama needs to be dressed like a queen first,” your daughter shrieked, standing up and dragging you over to her too-large child's vanity.
Now all three of you surrounded the table, you were given a matching tiara, too much plastic jewellery, and enough children makeup to make you look like a very sparkly clown. Nanami had to hide his mouth behind his hand to conceal his grin at your state. “You look ravishing,” he mused.
“Shut up, Ken.”
a/n: super duper short because I never actually write for Nanami and idk his character too well :c
