I know you’ve shared planning diagrams in the past, but would you be willing to post the ones for the black and red tie you posted today?

Those thick black lines you create are wonderful as is the section over the models midriff.

There is only one "trick" for this one. The black section was done entirely first before the red rope. This is possible with a technique I call "sub framing" (probably good for art only). For the neck and waist corset, twine was used between the two halves to temporarily hold it, at the end the red rope was added and twine was removed leaving the laced up sections in place.

My diagrams have gotten worse in terms of actually repeating them. However! I am going to share this one despite being awfully handwritten on a clipboard while I was on the go. Because I want you and others to see how I am thinking in terms of design / diagrams because making these diagrams by visualizing each part and writing have made my process better and other people designing or interested in designing could try it.
