Left, Echinopsis Oxygona more than 10 years old. Right Echinopsis Oxygona full of pups, I don’t know the age since this plant once belonged to my neighbor Efi who passed away some years ago. They are both on the roof of my building facing their favorite east side.
Very easy to grow, very easy to care for, rot resistant, very fast grower (flowering in about 3 years). Needs a porous compost mix (organic substances should be less than 50%). Prefers slightly acidic conditions. Very adaptable plant, loves seeing the sunrise.
Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) soil mix: 30% compost 20% perlite 20% sand 15% humus 10% pumice stone 5% zeolite
This particular specimen has been flowering endlessly this year, April to October. Flower color mostly light pink (is brighter or darker depending the season)
Lophophora Williamsii first flowering of the year
07 April 2017
