one of the very cute things abt working with lesson horses in a place that sees a lot of horse girl volunteers/interns, is its very common to find random braids on the horses.

its a physical reminder of how, even when ur not there to see it, these animals are being loved and cared for, and also. bcuz ppl will usually gravitate towards braiding their "favourite" horses, its also incredibly heartwarming to see that all of the horses are equally loved.

ive found braids on my favourite horses a few times now and it always makes me so giddy to see ppl r loving them even when im not there, and i wonder if ppl feel the same when they find my braids.

little tabby [minzk] is very fraidy with people but she still recognized me and was happy to get a treat.... big tortie [figaro] is not as flighty so she got a whole looong cuddle

was rewarded with pizza and soda for the very amazing experience of soothing and helping keep a dog safe while shes being driven home. im not complaining but im just saying thats 3 rewards, pizza, soda, and doggy. life is good

being rlly good with animals is a blessing and a curse. theres a dog visiting my home and now im not allowed to leave the common areas to play subnautica 2 in my room like a hermit bcuz she wuvs me already. but also she wuvs me already!!!
