I was talking with my friend about potential gods for the pantheon smp cast and since I was making a list anyway at that point here's my personal predictions/ideas/dynamics I think would be fun
(note: all I know as of right now is that it'll be the vsmp cast and that the cast are champions of the gods – I picked the olympic gods as it seemed most fitting)
Sausage, because Sausage. Yes he had a Zeus arc before, no I don't care.
Scott. I'm partial to this mostly because I imagine a very fun design for him, but also they can both be really petty and really glamorous. And Hera would just dote on him.
Pyro. Ironic given his name, but yeah. I don't have a lot of reason for it, mostly process of elimination, but I do think Pyro could pull off the range of "calm waters" to "raging storm" quite well.
(I only know him from vsmp)
Abolish. On the quiet side, very intimidating aura, works quietly to ensure things stay running and no one notices the work.
(I only know Abolish from vsmp and the occasional Harpy Express)
Martyn. This is just me pulling stuff from nowhere, but I could imagine a character for him where he hates the idea of being a champion of Hestia because she "doesn't do anything" and he came here to fight. But he fights to protect his home and family, and this is the core of Hestia.
(This type of character could also work for Apo but there's a certain bias I'll get to)
Legundo. Mostly because I imagine Legs could pull off the madness aspect of Dionysus really well.
Drift. Mostly through process of elimination, I neither know Drift well nor do I know Demeter well. The only story I can think of with Demeter off the top of my head is the one of Demeter, Hades and Persephone.
Also I think she killed someone because they cut an ancient tree/dryad? So you could say she's quite protective, but those were very valid cases to be protective lol.
Shelby. It was between Shelby and Pearl and while I do think Pearl is more similar to Athena in personality, I think Shelby could have a fun dynamic with Athena, almost like young Odysseus from Epic? Do you see my vision?
Cleo. Ares tends to get slack and called aggressive simply for being a war god, but I think Cleo would fully understand the depths of war and respect Ares for his domain.
(Guys Ares is pretty cool actually just look up the amazons to get an idea)
Apo. Entirely because of this post . Pure bias.
Owen. Owen has a wide variety of characters, but they do have a certain tendency to be tinkerers and so that's the aspect I went with.
Ren, mostly due to him being a theatre kid and playing guitar. I think they would mesh well!
Pearl. It was between Shelby and Pearl, but I think Pearl is more often portrayed as a huntress of sorts, mostly from Double Life, but also VSMP had her as a monster hunter.
