Do You Wanna Watch a Movie? || Para || Alcanson
His television, muted, in a random channel, was the only light in the bedroom besides the red tip of a cigarette. Kip was sitting in the end of the bed, not really smoking, just rolling the ciggy between his fingers. He glanced at the stick of cancer, like his stepfather liked to say, and at his reflection in the window. He smiled humorlessly at himself and bit his bottom lip.I’m a stubborn little shit. Smoking, like many things, proved to be pointless. But he didn’t stop smoking. Thinking about Cade Hanson at 3 am was pointless, also. But he didn’t stop doing it. And inviting him to his house to watch Frozen, damn, this was pointless as hell. Yet, that was exactly what he did. And crazily enough, Cade said yes.
The silence went on for half an hour until finally there was a knock at the front door. Putting out the cigarette in the ashtray, Kip stood up immediately but didn’t exactly run to it. He hastily opened the door right after the fourth knock, wearing just a tank top and pajama pants and putting on a smirk on his face before saying “Here you are.”
Cade nearly jumped when the door was opened nearly right away and he waved a little bit, chuckling awkwardly when he saw the tank top. "Nice shirt.' He muttered playfully, shifting his weight between his legs. "So are you gonna let me in?" After all, he'd have to let him in if they were going to watch a movie. And there was also the fact that he'd just walked all the way there.
"Also, it's freezing outside." He complained. It was past three in the morning, and if Kip wasn't expecting some complaining on his part... he was going to be at least a bit surprised. Cade wasn't really a pessimist, but he was nowhere near being an optimist either. He usually just didn't talk about either point of view, but it was too early and too cold outside to not complain about having to watch Frozen. "I may as well be Elsa right now."
Dear Cade,
I hate Christmas and we’ve never met but I’m guessing if we did I’d probably hate you as well and I think it’s fucking stupid we have to buy things for people around the school, let alone people we don’t know. But, since we have to do it I thought I’d embrace it in the classic Christmas cheer I’m known for. I looked in the cheap stores and I couldn’t find anything that really screamed ‘Christmas’ to me, so I did some research online and foud the perfect thing. Did you know Metallica sell their own Christmas merch? It comes with a jumper and baubles and everything.
Your Secret Fucking Santa, Ashleigh
Can we trade? Pleeease?
Depends on your job.
What job would you rather have?
Something that doesn't require giving "Christmas Anecdotes".
Is it possible to trade jobs with somebody?
Is that allowed?
Baze,
My family tends to go a bit overboard with the baking and decorating, so I figured I'd give you a bunch of these kinds of things.
The snowflakes are sugar cookies and the more colourful ones are shortbread, just so you know, and then the chocoalte snowflake things are peppermint bark. Also everything's peanut free because I wasn't sure!

Cade was exhausted. Why the fuck was he walking all the way to Kip's house at 3am? It was much too late, or early, he supposed, for this. Thankfully he'd figured out the shortest way to get there on google maps and, by cutting through the park, he'd made it to the other male's house in about a half hour.
The blond was dressed in plaid flannel pajama pants, mostly because they were comfortable and the first thing he saw in his drawers while getting dressed in the dark, a t-shirt, his new Secret Santa evil Christmas Sweater, and a thick hoodie overtop. His phone was tucked into one of the hoodie pockets and he repeatedly checked it for the time, wondering how much longer he had to walk until he reached the building.
He sighed as he approached Kip's door and double checked the number with the one on Kip's phone, before knocking four times and shifting his weight awkwardly between his feet. "Cm'on, Kip." He muttered.
3 AM
Kip: Of course I'm serious
Kip: Please, love
Kip: give me the pleasure of your company in this cold night
Kip: why go back to sleep when you can have ME and FROZEN?
Kip: Especially me
Kip: I'm a delight
Cade: But
Cade: I can't think of a reason not to
Cade: This is a problem
Cade: What's your address I'll be there soon
3 AM
Kip: sleep is for the weak
Kip: Now, get your white ass over here
Kip: We're watching this MASTERPIECE of movie
Cade: I can't tell if you're serious
Cade: Are you really going to make me get out of bed, and actually try and haul my ass to somewhere I don't know at 3:12am?
3 AM
Kip: You haven't seen FROZEN?
Kip: Damn, Hanson
Kip: You disappoint me
Cade: I'm honestly surprised you've seen it
Cade: seriously why are you awake!?
3 AM
Kip: THE SKY'S AWAKE
Kip: So I'm awake
Kip: °˖ ✧◝(○ ヮ ○)◜✧˖ °
Kip: Yes, I just quoted Frozen
Kip: Come on
Kip: Talk to me, Hanson
Cade: I'm proud to say that since I'm the youngest, I've never seen Frozen. Very proud
Cade: I still know all the words to Let it Go though, now
Cade: Fucking sisters are home for Christmas
3 AM
Kip: Hanson
Kip: I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a whole lot more as they get older. Then it dawned on me... they're cramming for their final exam.
Kip: isn't that amazing
Cade: asldpdofigjpdofijdbfdhgierughdifu
Cade: Sorry my screen was like... I couldn't see. So I was trying to find the brightness.
Cade: Why the fuck are you still awake?
Oh, that is sad. There are a lot of sad Christmas songs with happy music.
Yeah, I don't get it.
Because Christmas isn’t happy for everyone. Some people find it hard this time of the year.
I know. That's why I'm asking as to why they pretend it's a happy song.
I’ll look it up. What’s it about?
About someone who's alone on Christmas because the person they love is far away.
Well, Christmas is a pretty backwards holiday. It’s not everyday kids get excited about a guy breaking into their house.
But... that's not really the same message that the song gives off either.
