I mean, a looooot of people were screaming about red flags long before the engagement interview but the BRF (or maybe Harry and Harry’s loyalists) silenced it all for Meghan. And she *still* complains they did nothing for her!
Anyway, some choice quotes:
This week, I spoke to sources who worked for the Royal Household at the time of Husain's interview in 2017 and they said the duchess's 'performance' should have raised more concerns than it did. 'At the time, there was so much excitement about the engagement that no one really questioned some of Meghan's comments,' one source says. 'But, if you watch it again now, some of her responses seem insincere and her body language is telling.'
and
The more I look back at that 2017 interview with Mishal Husein, the more it seems that the truly 'orchestrated' thing about it was, in fact, the performance by the duchess. In the US drama Suits, she played the part of paralegal Rachel Zane - with some success. But she found a new role at Kensington Palace: the naive outsider marrying into the Windsors. I would argue that she was rather less convincing.
I guess better late than never for the rota to wake up.
The interview was loaded with red flags. My jaw was on the floor with many of her comments. 🚩
Wait a minute. I think I know what this olive branch birthday trip to the UK is all about.
Harry will be turning 40. Milestone birthdays are a big deal in the BRF for working royals. They usually come with new honors, and things like fresh portraits and new patronages.
Yet, here we are in 2024 and Harry won't even get a public greeting from the BRF let alone a new honor. So this whole alleged trip and the PR about an inheritance from the Queen Mum, is basically Harry throwing a tantrum demanding that people pay attention to him.
Talk about being full of regrets eh?

As I have posted many times in the past… Always take notice of warning signs, although my posts are usually related to farms.
Earlier this week a female tourist appeared to faint after she was bitten on the arm when she got too close to one of The King’s Guard horses on Whitehall. News story.
The troopers have to remain calm and appear emotionless when they are on ceremonial duties like this. They often have to put up with a lot from the public.
The horses, however are not always so good tempered. They find it frustrating to stand still for an extended amount of time, and will sometimes show their displeasure to anyone who ventures too close.
Having said that, the soldiers also sometimes kick and bite too… but, only once they get back to the barracks!

Let's go on a trip with the RAF and their Avro Lancaster.
The Avro Lancaster is the most famous of the UK's WWII heavy bombers. I believe there are now only two airworthy Lancasters still in existence.
One of them is operated by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby. This plane has recently undergone extensive maintenance, and will be seen at airshows over the the summer.

For once I actually believe. He is that paranoid and she is that insane.
