ah, sorry if this is a weird question, but how did you make the amigurumi Biyoo? i sorta wanna try making her myself, if you don't mind sharing the pattern

Dw I'd love to share it with anyone who wants to know!! :D

So for her body, I think I did something like this:

- round 1: magic ring with 6 single crochet stiches (6)

- round 2: two single crochets in each stitch (12)

- round 3: two single crotchets in first stitch then single crochet on the next (18)

- round 4: the same as round 3 (27)

- round 5: same as round 3 again (40)

- round 6-13 (i think. I cant remember exactly how many rounds sorry): single crotchet (40)

- round 14: single crotchet decrease on the first two stitches then single crotchet on the next (27)

- round 15: the same as round 14 (18)

- round 16: the same as round 14 again (12)

- round 17: single crotchet decrease (6)

- round 18: single crotchet decrease again (3)

And for her horn I did this:

- round 1: magic ring with 4 single crotchet stitches but don't join

- round 2: single crotchet (4)

- round 3: two single crotchets in first stitch then single crotchet on next (6)

- round 4: single crotchet (6)

- round 5: same as round 3 (9)

- round 6: single crotchet (9)

I dont know the size of the eyes I used just have fun picking out which size you think would suit biyoo 😄

Frieren Anime & Manga Spoiler Warning !!!

I don’t think enough people talk about these beautiful, subtle parallels between Stark and Himmel. This is largely because we’re already used to accepting the Frieren — Himmel and Stark — Eisen parallels, but there is SO MUCH that these two similarly encompass that I’m absolutely enamored with!!

The first and probably most apparent one is their charisma with townspeople and children. In all these flashbacks we see Himmel playing with children and running errands around town; and we see Stark idly doing the same during downtime periods. It’s just inherently in their nature to help people whenever able, and they end up beloved in every town they touch as a result.

But apart from that, isn’t it interesting how they’re both “fake” Heroes? Stark was lauded as a hero of the village for keeping the solar dragon at bay, even if he’d “not done anything”; and Himmel was lauded as a hero despite not being the true wielder of the Hero’s Sword. They’re acknowledged as true heroes despite their origins being fraudulent, yet they both grew into the image that was molded for their likeness. Himmel defeated the Demon King, and Stark defeated the solar dragon—but to the people en masse, the reality leading up to it wasn’t known.

I wanted to go on this tangent because in the anime, so much emphasis was placed on Stark resonating with the Hero’s Sword—this was absolutely deliberate. We know that Stark’s self image is far from ideal; he still thinks himself a coward, and he couldn’t fathom himself similar to Himmel.

And it’s such a tragic thing—he doesn’t realize just how similar he really is. Stark is a true Hero in the making, and we get little sprinkles and tidbits of him doing so; they do it in such a quiet, but such a powerful way. We’re watching him develop into the kind of person he wants to be.

Hahaha and should i mention the lotus jewelry motifs because those speak for themselves like come ON!!!! I rest my case they’re both <3333
