Through These Eyes

Life is full of ups and downs. If you don't stop to look around it is easy to find yourself walking through life on autopilot. To truly experience life, we must recognize and celebrate the fleeting moments of beauty and acknowledge the trying times as part of our journey. Monique has been inspired by the words of other writers - they have helped her get up when she has been knocked down, assured her that she was not alone when questioning everything and helped her see beauty in all aspects of life. If these poems resonate with just one person, it will put a smile on her face.
