Diluc is aware this is not really fair. He wouldn’t, of course, say it out loud. He’s way too proud to complain, and besides, winning despite having it more difficult would be so much more satisfying. Oh how good it would – will – feel, to see this stupid smirk on Kaeya’s face finally vanish. Especially since it is harder for Diluc to bear with the current situation, as he is the one working the bar tonight.
“Master Diluc, is everything alright? You seem tense. And red. Are you hot?”
Diluc wipes a couple pearls of sweat off his forehead and straightens his back to shoot his sworn brother a disapproving look.
“It is particularly hot today, isn’t it?” he responds matter-of-factly. His lips feel dry and rough, and he cannot help but lick them again. The way Kaeya’s gaze follows the movement of his tongue doesn’t go unnoticed; Diluc purposefully bites his bottom lip, slowly, his eyes set on the Cavalry Captain as another wave of pleasure makes him shiver. The smug smile Kaeya has been wearing for most of the evening disappears from his face.
“You are going to pay for teasing me like this, Firefly,” his tone is rather cheerful, as though what has just left his lips was a lighthearted compliment, not a threat.
“Don’t make promises you won’t be able to keep,” suggests Diluc with feigned calmness, casually dabbing his forehead with a handkerchief.
“Do you really think I won’t be able to make you beg?” Kaeya leans in, now almost lying on the counter. “That I won’t pound into you until you think you can’t take it anymore– Just so I can prove you wrong in the end?”
“Ha–“ Diluc is not really proud of how these words affect him.
“Come on. I know you want to give up.”
“Dream on.”
“Oh. I had many dreams about this, actually.”
Diluc takes a deep breath, pretending not to see the satisfied expression on the other’s face.
“I have to take out the trash,” he mumbles, pushing himself away from the counter. He shivers slightly as the vibrator inside him moves a little. “Do not follow me.”
He says the last part so Kaeya doesn’t take this as an invitation, but the truth is he would love to be somewhere alone with him right now, to be touched and worshipped; for their bodies to be as close as possible and for their voices to intertwine as they whisper praises into each other’s… Fuck.
“I said, do not follow me.”
Kaeya is not even trying to be stealthy; without ceremony, he pins his lover to the wall, his knee between Diluc’s legs. Somewhere in the tavern there is a burst of loud laughter that startles them both, but they know they’re safe here. It’s dark, quiet. Promising.
“That wouldn’t be fair, Master Ragnvindr. How can I be sure you aren’t cheating?”
“How would I even cheat?” Diluc makes a weak attempt to free himself, only to make Kaeya curse under his breath as the ring on his cock responds to the proximity and starts pulsating. The device inside Diluc follows suit just a mere few seconds later, causing him to gasp and clench his fingers on the fabric of Kaeya’s jacket.
“Fuck, my Firefly,” Kaeya’s voice is shaking at this point, his usual playful tone becoming more and more difficult to maintain. “I want you so much.”
“Of course you do. Do you… Uh. Do you really expect me to just let you win?”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” purrs Kaeya before rolling his hips towards Diluc. Neither of them manages to hold back their moans as both devices start to vibrate harder.
Diluc relaxes a little, leaning back against the wall, his eyes closed and lips slightly parted.
“Just like that, baby.” Kaeya grabs a handful of red locks to pull on them gently, exposing more of his lover’s delicate neck. “Surrender is not a bad option… It could even be sweet.”
“You surrender, then,” suggests Diluc, still eagerly welcoming Kaeya’s soft wet kisses on his neck. The other just laughs: a low, throaty sound that makes his lover weak in his knees.
That doesn’t go unnoticed.
“Ah, what are you…!” Diluc tightens his legs around Kaeya’s waist, almost losing his balance as he’s being lifted off the ground.
“What good partners do. Isn’t this… better?”
The vibrations of both devices intensify again as Kaeya and Diluc end up pressed tightly against one another. For a short moment, they take time to just look and take in each other’s faces, feel the sweetness and warmth of their shared breaths. Slowly, Diluc raises his hand and runs his fingers along Kaeya’s cheek, stopping only at the edge of his eyepatch. He wants to remove it so much, but decides against it; this kind of intimacy belongs in their bedroom only, where none other than Diluc himself can see his beloved like this.
Kaeya’s tender kiss surprises him; he leans in to return it, for a second completely forgetting about their bet. Just for a second.
“Fuck,” Kaeya growls as Diluc starts rolling his hips against him, hard and slow, making it almost painful. “Are you… Uhm, fuck. Let’s go upstairs, love.”
“Sure, Kaeya. You sore loser.”
The response is enough; the next second Diluc finds himself out of breath, his body pressed even harder against the wall and his lover kissing him roughly, mercilessly, fucking him through their clothes. Diluc is not one to just give in, though; he makes sure to respond to each movement of Kaeya’s tongue, each thrust of his hips, and soon neither of them is able to utter a comprehensive word anymore. The strong vibrations deep inside Diluc already make him shiver uncontrollably, but now that Kaeya is so close, he can feel the ring on his cock too, making it almost unbearable. Suddenly, winning or losing is not relevant anymore. Right now, he can only think about Kaeya being so close, Kaeya devouring him, Kaeya humping into him and panting against his lips. Diluc reaches behind him and fumbles a little with the strap holding his long ponytail together. The strap falls onto the ground and navy blue hair spills on Kaeya’s arms, ready for Diluc to grab and caress and pull at.
Some silhouette appears in the distance, then another: seems like two people head in their direction and Diluc turns his head a little to utter a warning, only for his lips to be chased and closed with another kiss. And then the silhouettes vanish, or maybe Diluc’s vision is too blurry to see them, it doesn’t matter anymore.
“Kaeya…”
“Yes, baby, I know,” whispers Kaeya under his breath, like he’s about to fall apart. And this makes Diluc lose it.
Both devices start to slow down as two lovers hold each other tightly, their breaths shallow and heartbeats too loud.
“Seems like you won, Firefly,” mutters Kaeya, placing sweet kisses along Diluc’s jaw.
Diluc lowers his feet onto the ground, still holding tightly onto his lover. A solid minute passes before he can mutter a response. “I did not.”
In his post-orgasmic bliss, Kaeya doesn’t realize what that means right away. Then, he only laughs in the exact way Diluc pretends to dislike.
“I guess we have to schedule a rematch, then.”
“Anytime.” Diluc reluctantly lets go and for the last time runs his fingers through his lover’s hair.
“I don’t have anything to tie it with now,” Kaeya’s whisper is soft, tender; there is no reproach in it at all.
“That will teach you to carry spare straps.”
“Oh? You’re right. Can imagine a few fun ways of using them, too.”
“Tsk.” Diluc averts his gaze, nervously smoothing his hair and clothes. “I have to go back now.”
“You’re not going back.” Kaeya ruffles his lover’s hair again. “I told Charles you went home. He understands, you looked so sick after all.”
Despite his best efforts, Diluc fails to conceal his relief.
“You could’ve been more discreet. They might start talking,” he scoffs nevertheless.
Kaeya chooses not to respond to that. It’s not really the right time to explain that everyone in Mondstadt already knows they’re together.
Instead, he just presses a kiss to the top of Diluc’s head. “So, Firefly? Rematch at my place?”
Diluc gives out a disbelieving gasp. “What, now?”
Kaeya raises his eyebrow. “You said anytime.”
Diluc’s expression changes and Kaeya immediately knows there’s no need for persuasion.
NEW ANIME VISUAL PRISON IS THE BEST THING IVE EVER SEEN. its so over the top and extra. had no idea what was going on at ANY point in the episode. people keep saying its “hypnosis mic with vampires” but i think a more accurate description would be “the jupiter ascending of anime”. this feels like someones edgy ocs they made in 2008 on deviantart got turned into an anime. 10000000000/10. ep 1 is such complete nonsense it makes you immediately think “oh this must be based on some source material and its made for fans and im missing context” but NO. ITS A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL ANIME. THERE IS NO CONTEXT.
So I got the VisuPri stageplay DVD and it’s beautiful. Please have a look at Dimitri holding a wedding ceremony for his bugs and Hyde being done with him for (almost) two minutes straight.

idk if it’s just how my very silly brain operates but does anybody else get like. a weird second wave of procrastination right before you finish something. like you already did 70-90% of the work, it realistically won’t take you that long to be done, but for some reason. u just can’t. like. time’s up on executive function. like. oh sorry did you want to not be worried about this? bc im going to make u have to be worried about this. thanks!
