I’ll make this short. Today a racist idiot burned our car completely. It can only be sold for scrap because the motor, brain and sensors are fried.
We’re a family of black latine immigrants. we did not get any stimulus checks. I was forced to drop out cause I can’t pay for college so I’m using my shop to sustain my family, and without a car this is just so, so much more difficult.

hey, so about three months ago, in October, I was assaulted by my moms boyfriend. in the safety of my own room. in my house.
since then ive been homeless, couch surfing, and spending my only 1000 on food and hotel rooms
out of that 1000 I only have this much left in my account
and the only reason why I even have that much is because I have a very sweet and generous friend named Andrew who just recently let me stay with him in his apartment
he has done SO much to keep me safe and happy, but the issue is is that I cannot provide the same amount he provides me
because of covid, I haven’t gotten a single response back to over 30 job applications I’ve sent out, and we’re now both super stressed for money
he’s broke, I’m broke, we’re going to miss rent, we now can’t afford food, and he may kick me out because he can’t afford to help me right now (which is ok!! I understand so please don’t hate on him or anything)
if that happens though, I will either have to move back into my extremely abusive household, or I’ll be homeless
I don’t really know how to ask for help, but rn I’m kind of super fucked, so if you’re down to throw some dollars my way, that would be amazing, and I would deeply appreciate it. I need help.
