Why not an office reminiscent of a Moroccan garden? This work-that-looks-like-play-room belongs to Paulette Dufault, publicity director for Elizabeth Arden. Paulette's walls are covered with shirred Indian-print fabric — she hemmed top and bottom, then ran curtain rods through both hems; rods are installed (hung on hooks) along ceiling and floor lines. Lightening the look, bamboo shades filter the sun into a lazy pattern reflecting across glass and steel desk. The lacy peacock chair (Walter's Wicker Wonderland, 991 Second Ave., N.Y.C.) is perfect for any lady executive, nicely set off by the zebra-striped rug tossed under fragile-looking glass desk.
