I hate falling in love with a show and then finding out that there’s like absolutely NO FANDOM CONTENT like anywhere and if there is any, it’s so limited and like not exactly what you’re looking for but kind of???

Or also if the show is older and didn’t really have a lot of traction so it died out a few years after it finished—same things happen. It makes me so sad

I feel like we as a society do not appreciate fanfic writers enough. Imagine commiting to something you don't get paid for, not always appreciated, taking up a huge chunk of your time and the worst of all, some a**hole complaining that fanfic writing isn't actual writing.
