let's talk words because I'm not really a big fan of the english translation of this week's chapter

"Stalwart" and "pure" are definitely... choices. Especially stalwart. That is not a common word people use day-to-day in English.

In Japanese, Rudo says 『堅実』 and 『高潔』. Let's break it down a bit.

堅実・けんじつ・kenjitsu is actually an adjective that means steady, sound, stable, safe, reliable. If I had to pick a word to translate it to, I would choose "trustworthy" as, in context, it would relate to the Hell Guard.

Stalwart on the other hand means, strong, stout, sturdy. All of those are physical words that relate nothing to the Japanese. If you break down the kanji, 堅・けん means strict, hard, solid, reliable and 実・じつ means reality, truth. So I find using "stalwart" a very odd choice.

As for 高潔・こうけつ・kouketsu, it's also an adjective that means noble, virtuous. If you break it down, 高・こう is tall, high, expensive and 潔・けつ is pure, clean. For this word, "pure" would be good but it sounds like a word followers of a religion would use and not a word that apostles would use for themselves. So in this instance, I would translate it to "righteous."

Also, side note, Rudo does say "deeds" however, I feel like "conduct" or "behavior" is implied and "deeds" can be taken out. 「それどころか『堅実』『高潔』な行いを続けりゃ神になれると信じてる。」

"If anything, they believe that if they continue being "trustworthy" and "righteous," they can become gods."

Again, just my opinion on what the translation should have been. The stalwart just really threw me off though so I had to get this off my chest.

Here's the thing you've got to understand about my boys. Endo is patient. He plans out things maticulously and is willing to do what ever he has to to get what he wants. He learned from Chika that he can't rush into things or try and force these boys to do anything. He has to coax them.

Sakura doesn't like asking for help if he can avoid it. He is the kind of guy who has to try to do something himself first and only after he fails does he ask for help.

We can see how well Endo understands Sakura in this chapter. He advises Sakura to just give up but knows he won't so he continues gathering the information he's going to need. He fully arranged and sets up a plan on Sakuras behalf and then waits. He knows if he goes to Sakura with the plan too soon he won't respond well to it. He has to fail on his own first.

Sakura apologizes repeatedly to Endo in this chapter. He's sorry he brought Ume with him. He's sorry higari is baby sitting. He's not sorry for ignoring Endo's advice though. He wants to talk to Suo and he knows hes out of his depths.

Before he gets to apologize for relying on Endo, Endo stops him. He doesn't let him ask for help he just hands him the passes and a full infiltration plan. He demonstrates his understanding of Sakura in this moment. Even saying that this is what he loves about Sakura. He reassures him that he can rely on him, no questions asked. He doesn't need words to do that either, Sakura responds to actions better than conversations.

The infiltration mission squad not being able to get out of Bankoku-gai (Endo mentioning how getting out is hard is soooooo sus) and they have to send a rescue team consisting of Kiryu + Tsuge (they've been in the tourist parts and know where the gates are), Tsubaki (adult supervision) and Kaji (my monkeys my circus part 2)

I can picture a future chapter where Umemiya notices Suo’s concern regarding the scarcity of supplies and the food shortage affecting the community—especially the children. I imagine Umemiya putting a plan into action: teaching everyone to grow vegetables so the entire community could benefit from a "community garden" capable of sustaining them all. After all, sharing a meal—especially when hungry—forges a heartwarming bond. Suo would certainly feel grateful for the kindness and care Umemiya has always shown, whether back in Furin or now in Bankoku-gai.
