I LOVE ship dynamics where there's two good, kind-hearted characters who, when put in a romantic context with eachother, become miserable! Give me an absolute unhealthy mess of a relationship where neither of the characters are the villain or the victim!! Make them genuinely try over and over again to do it right just to end up bringing the worst out of eachother!! Characters who were meant to be friends, not lovers, no matter how much they like eachother!!

Extra points if they stay friends after they break up and find out that's all they needed to do all along

While we're at it, I also absolutely love the complete opposite of this. Two characters who are absolute ASSHOLES and would be toxic in any relationship EXCEPT with eachother. They don't make one another better they just match eachother's freak perfectly.
