Fireflies - Still Corners
In a city of the future, it is difficult to find a space. I'm too busy to see you, you're too busy to wait.

Even though I haven't seen or spoke to you in more than a year, I went to your memorial yesterday because I truly considered you as a friend. And even though we weren't extremely close, I still remember the few times we'd play basketball, party, and have casual conversations about the future, school, girls, and life. You always made me feel so welcomed even though I was just one of your best friend's girlfriend. I can't remember a time that I've been in your presence and never smiled or laughed. When my relationship ended with him, I was also sad because I knew I wouldn't see you everyday or for a very long time either. I remember I would still ask about you occasionally to see how you're doing. I honestly feel so fortunate to have met someone who made such a positive impact on so many people. The stadium was packed because everyone loves you and is so heartbroken that you had to leave this earth so young. I admire you so much for the mark you did leave on this world and the hundreds of people you touched. I love you, friend. And I'll miss you dearly.
Rest in peace Michael Kelly.
If you ever get mad enough to leave, that's when I know I'll stay.
