The Storyteller Archives Introduction
I've seen a number of Undertale AU Blogs on Tumbler and Thought I might as well share my own through the character "The Storyteller". All these Stories are from the various AU's I came up with sometimes with inspiration from other media, I will also use other people's Characters such as CORE!Frisk and INK!Sans, as long as they are free to use, and I will link them. I am also, making a Fandom about this on the New Undertale Fanon AU Wiki. This is my first real attempt at making a multiversal story. If you got recommendations, want to read more, or fanart (doubt, as I'm a bad artist and can only really describe them, which I am also somewhat bad at) then let me know. I'll mainly do two things for each post: tell a story about the given character, and a Description of them, their abilities, and their world. You can even ask the Characters things about themselves or other topics if you want!

So there I was having one of my many lucid dreams I use to organize my thoughts, cause I can quite literally be SCATTER brained hehehe, when I spotted something or someone in the corner of my mind. At first I thought I was imagining it as all dreams are usually hallucinations of the mind. When suddenly my ever unorganized Dream became more Organized than ever... though it didn't help me organize my thoughts but it was a nice attempt.
When I next woke up I had a single thought in my mind "Who was that" so I began with of course with any reasonable start... I began checking all 2,335,598,654,758,999,345 entries of my Archive, searching for who or what when I stumbled upon a collection of memories of the figure I saw, it seems they had a connection. So of course I went to the sources of these memories, the AU Deities.
The figure turns out to be a 9 year old Frisk called Weaver (AKA Weaver!Frisk) who was not only adopted by AU Deity WarEra!Asgore but also an old Multiversal Rogue Tiel! Weaver's AU has no name... their AU is just empty white void that has a Giant White Wolf that patrolled it protecting a baby Weaver. It is unclear if Weaver's AU was destroyed in some way or was always that way. Weaver's Adoption was the first step in Tiel's change of heart. Weaver was bit a Sheltered and split between two custodies leading to their usually antisocial behavior such as hiding from strangers. Weaver got their Deity Soul when they were 7. With combat training from TrueJustice!Undyne, Weaver was let loose into the Dream Realm. With their Dream Nail, they pierce through the fabric of reality tearing at its seams opening a way into slumbering minds.
LastingRune such a Sad AU. The Lightners and their Allies were nearing the end of their journey Moral was high, when disaster struck Plunging the world into twilight, wiping out all but two, Susie and Lancer. Susie proceeded SLAY the rest of the Titans, saving the world.
Susie after loosing most of her friends, disappeared from the light world into Castle Town as its Sole Guardian and falling into a deep depression.
Lancer, after loosing his father in the final fight, became the King of Castle Town and the wearer of the now ripped Shadow Mantle

They go by many names, and though unofficial, their friends simply call them Lynn Umbracourier.
Despite their human appearance, Lynn is not human. They do not possess a typical soul. Instead, they have a Spirit, a soul-like essence in the shape of a butterfly. There are several other differences about Lynn’s nature, though I haven’t quite figured all of them out yet.
The most concerning aspect of Lynn’s biology is the presence of a Dark Fountain within their heart. Not only that, but they also carry a Shadow Scroll, which contains a universe-ending spell known as The Hollow Whisper. It is said this spell has the power to cause a billion Roarings simply by being read aloud.
Lynn is a NoxBringer or NoxBearer, depending on one’s preference, a humanoid entity whose sole purpose is to deliver messages from the Lunar Queen (sometimes referred to as the shadow queen) to the Keeper of the Void Heart. It is typical for a NoxBringer to be ⬛⬛⬛⬛ upon fulfilling their purpose.
Lynn is a melancholic individual who believes they don’t matter. They often speak in a way that is depressing or off-putting. I’ve never met such a fragile soul. Their stats are 0.1/0.1 HP, -666666 DEF, and 1 ATK. However, what they lack in resilience, they make up for with their connection to a time loop. They have died over and over.
Though they possess no Determination, Lynn resets to the beginning of their journey upon death, always carrying the Shadow Scroll with them.
Lynn’s journey began as any NoxBringer's would: crossing the Shadow Stream Bridge. However, their path turned grim when the bridge collapsed, casting them into the Shadow Stream and plunging them into the Realm of Blight. Despite this severe setback, Lynn pressed forward.
Their journey changed them both for better and for worse. They began to feel emotions, something unnatural for a NoxBringer. Despite trying to ignore others and push them away, Lynn eventually became “corrupted” with feelings eventually making friends... though still keeping their gloomy outlook on like, they particularly enjoy dark humor. Though only very few know what lurks at their Journey's end...
Currently they have seemed to have made it into the Multiverse, seemingly frustrated at trying the Labyrinth of certain doom, those who enter are doomed to die in 5 minutes unless they make it through the exit. And going out through the entrance will just kill you.

If their Universe was a Playable game, it'd have like the Atmosphere vibe of Hollow Knight, Gameplay similar to that of HorrorTale (The constant instant horrific deaths outside of battle), maybe some bullet hell elements of Undertale. With worlds in the style/flavor of the Dark Worlds of DeltaRune. Along with the Moral Dilemma of OneShot (I think, I haven't played OneShot, the Dilemma of the ending from what I heard)

VESSEL is a unique being composed of multiple entities, used to be only eight, but their number has since grown significantly. Despite being made of many, VESSEL possesses no soul. Its universe of origin is unknown and seemingly inconsistent, varying between accounts.
As a fusion of many different entities, VESSEL does not have a single, cohesive backstory. However, a recurring theme among its components is rejection and abandonment. These shared experiences have led to a collective resentment toward Gaster like beings and the humans of Delta Warriors.
VESSEL is one of the rare cases of a soulless being and shares many traits with Amalgamates. It can divide itself into multiple bodies, although the range of separation is limited. While it displays many distinct personalities, all aspects of VESSEL are unified by one goal: to take control of their own fate.
Additionally, VESSEL absorbs other rejected vessels from across different universes, as well as the bodies of fallen humans, further adding to its complexity and form.
Ok, I finally finished it! In total, this all took around 16 hours to do, and boy, does my head hurt! But hey, it was fun! I do hope this was helpful to some people. ^_^

After spending four years as the Princess of Monsters, Asriel and I attempted my plan to free the monsters from the underground, but it ultimately failed like any other timeline. After Frisk fell into the underground, I somehow was revived by her determination, however in a ghost form. I was excited to show Frisk the underground, but my excitement ended almost immediately after Frisk was attacked by Flowey and other monsters. At first, I thought they were just trying to spar with Frisk as sparring was an underground tradition. Frisk was very scared, so I promised to protect her, somehow, we figured out how to allow me to control her body, my training with Asgore allowed me to dodge attacks mostly with ease, however I had gone a long time without using legs at that time. Then Frisk met Toriel, she grew instantly attached to her. I noticed Toriel hadn't been taking care of herself, that along with living alone in the ruins of our old home really made me concerned. When Frisk wanted to leave, Toriel's momma bear instincts kicked in and she started attacking Frisk, telling her to prove herself strong enough to survive. No matter how many times Frisk begged or pleaded Toriel wouldn't stop her assault, I decided to step in, and I accidentally killed her... I broke down. Frisk comforted me, saying it wasn't my fault. I mostly stayed quiet after this point, occasionally giving Frisk advice and helping her with battles. Soon enough Frisk had befriended most of the underground. After clearing out the True Lab, Frisk eventually told Alphys about me. I don't exactly know but using some of Dr. Gaster's research, some of Frisk's soul, and my body, which for some reason never decayed, and some of Frisk's DNA, they were able to revive me. It took me a while to adjust have a body again, and I couldn't use magic for some time. While Alphys and Frisk were discussing how to tell the others, I found some old video tapes some of them from Asriel's camera I watched our memories we made together.
Thats when I found some CDs, I didn't know how they worked so it took me a while to figure it out. Once I did, I was mortified at what I saw Asgore's call for war and the death of every fallen child. I felt betrayed how could my own "father" do such a thing, like honestly did I mean anything to him? Was I just being used as a tool to help monsters reach the surface? Did anyone truly love me? All these thoughts ran through my head, the only people I didn't doubt was Toriel and Asriel.
I became so angry I started killing everyone in my way, equipped with just a knife and my necklace I tore straight through every monster. Undyne, Mettaton, and Alphys started evacuating people, but before the door could close, I threw my knife, and it broke the controls to the door stopping it from closing... Mettaton activated his Neo Form, but I cut through him like paper, Undyne I gutted her like a fish, I went for Alphys and the others when Undyne transformed into her Undying form, though she wasn't even a challenge another blow to the neck took her down instantly, the Amalgamates proceeded to try and protect everyone but they fell just as easily as the rest I proceeded to kill everyone in hot land. I went from area to area killing every monster. Waterfall, I managed to actually kill Napstablook and Mad Dummy with my slowly returning magic. Old man Gerson thought he was slick because shops have anti-damage field until I dragged him out of the shop and stabbed him. The Dunes were quickly wiped out as not a single bullet grazed me. The monsters in Snowdin fled to the ruins, but I just used the secret entrance me and Asriel used when we were younger. After finishing the ruins and other areas along the way. I arrived at MTT Resort, dragging Burger Pants out of his hiding spot and dusting him. After finishing everyone in the core off I arrived at new home where I saw Papyrus standing opposingly, He tried talking to me, but I was still in my undying rage. Let's just say he put up one heck of a fight, unfortunately didn't hit me once. I proceeded to judgement hall, where I was confronted by Sans and Frisk.
Due to Frisk's Determination, I killed them both 1,000 times which is when Frisk finally gave up. However, due to when Frisk saved, I had to battle Papyrus multiple times as well. Then I arrived at Asgore, at first, he drew his weapon, but upon realizing it was me he lowered it, then I stabbed him in the eye, only doing attacks that were painful but low damage to him to make him suffer. He finally gave up on talking and tried to defeat me, however I knew all his moves. I ended up knocking his trident out of his hand and proceeded to stab him with it. That was it the underground was empty not a single soul left, but My Genocide was not over, I proceeded to the barrier where I was once again confronted, this time by Dr. Gaster and his Followers, Frisk's save file loads ended up bringing them all together. Dr. Gaster didn't even try to talk just immediately summoned a massive gaster blaster and firing it. Of course, I dodged it but then I simply reached out and pointed at gaster, the blaster's eyes turn red as it immediately turned around and fired at Gaster destroying him and his followers in one blast. With them out of the way I pulled out my knife and plunged it into the barrier shattering it in one blow.
The rest was a blur in my mind but next I remember I had killed the last human, all 8.7 billion of them... Thats when Flowey showed up saying he had Absorbed Frisk's and the other 6 fallen children's souls. Transforming into his original form, where he revealed to me, he was Asriel. I was overcome with joy dropping my knife to hug him, as yellow bullet flew past my head. I realized what this meant, I drew my knife once again in disbelief, believing my BEST friend had betrayed me. Asriel proceeded to absorb all the human souls in the world. Transforming into the GOD OF ETHERIAL HYPER DEATH. Our battle lasted months. When I dealt the final blow Asriel collapsed. Realizing what I had done I ran over to him, where he muttered his final words, which today still haunts me: "I hate you... Chara". Letting out a sharp breath he turned to dust, every single human soul shattering at once. I collapsed into tears, for I don't know how long days, weeks, a month? I became the think my grandmother's prophecies spoke of I was the Incarnate of Destruction, and I ended all life. I tried resetting the timeline multiple times, but only Asriel wouldn't reset, leaving only his soul left. I even tried a TRUE RESET, but to no avail. I decided if Asriel couldn't be alive with me that I would join him in death. I attempted every way I could to kill myself: stabbing my chest over and over again, cutting my own head off, drowning, submerging myself in lava, and much more. No matter what I did I wouldn't die... I couldn't die.
Thats when a Portal opened up behind me and out stepped who I presumed to be Asgore. Which I was only half correct. It turns out this was War Era Asgore, revenge timeline, or otherwise known as Wisdom Asgore, he looks like any other Asgore except his armor is all gold and his normally golden colored beard was a light gray due to his incredibly old age. At first, I drew my knife only to plunge it into my own soul, it shattered... for a few seconds my emotions were just gone... until my soul reformed. Wisdom Asgore shocked at the sight of me harming myself. Wisdom Asgore eventually got me to calm down. He started explaining the Multiverse to me, and eventually the reason why he came here, he sensed a powerful presence forming in my soul, one that he had as well, showing me his soul, it was like any other monster's soul, but it had a golden outline around it. He told me it was the soul of a multiversal Deity and only 5 other people had it, but he could tell it was forming in my soul. I was at first interested then I thought why would someone as horrid as me get such a powerful thing. Why me if there were infinite others who are more worthy. I told him this, he laughed and said he thought the same thing when he first got it, but after years he eventually found that it chose him for a reason just like he believes it did for me. He asked if I wanted to come along with him, and around this time my birthmark started glowing for the first time since my rebirth. Deciding this was a sign I accepted to go with him. I went to the barrier and shattered it with a single touch. Leaving only a potted flower and a note behind.
I took Asriel's soul with me so nothing bad could happen to it. Ever since then I've tried my best to help and protect all those I could.
(To add some more context Chara isn't getting into the specifics of everything this is just the story on a surface and understandable level)
Year 3 Month 3 Day 25 - Asriel Is spending the night at a friend's house for the week, the Nightmares just keep getting more frequent without him. I keep telling Mom about these Dreams, but she dismisses them as separation anxiety. I told Dr. ______ about them, he seemed really interested into it. One of the nightmares I was fighting a being of unimaginable power except it sort of looked like Asriel but older and I felt taller… And then there were two skeletons… which is impossible because Dr. ______ is the last one… however when I told him about it Dr. had a knowing yet puzzled look on his face. I wonder if this relates to the two test tubes full of dust me and Asriel found at the lab in the sealed off room, along with the new holes in Dr. ______ hands. He also confirmed what Asriel saw, as my Birthmark was glowing
Year 3 Month 7 Day 29 - I HAVE MAGIC?! One day while I was training with Dad, my Training knife turned red as I put in my all against his giant fire attack slicing it in HALF with a red blade of air! Unfortunately, the excitement me and Dad got caused us to spill the beans to Mom. Boy did dad get a talking to; I tried to defend him saying it was my idea, but Mom said it wasn't listening, Sometimes I feel she is too stubborn and overprotective. Well, Dad managed to deflect her anger; by saying she could now teach me healing magic. Dr. ______ wasn't surprised until I created a tiny spark of flames in my hand.
Year 3 Month 8 Day 5 - Dr. ______ has been testing me because he said the magic I wield is unnatural for a human. As human magic is more affected by their soul traits like light shining through stained glass and the light is limited to their colors, unless the human has a source of transforming it such as a staff. He kept pushing me to my limit, somehow magic is more tiring than physical attacks for me. He started wondering if the barrier influenced my magic capabilities, but he tested on me for hours and none of my magic has any properties of the barrier, except for one part of it, the Determination.
Year 3 Month 8 Day 6 - It gets tiring writing his name so I'm just going to write him as Dr. G. Dr. G finally decided to show me more of his magic, mostly to see if I could replicate it. He summoned some bones, some of the attacks had different colors. However, then he threw me on the Ceiling! It was like he reversed my gravity! But the coolest part was his Blasters! He says some monsters have magic attacks called familiars; they are like living beings, but they only exist until the caster dismisses them or exhausts their magic. I was only slightly able to replicate his magic except for the blasters. However, when he was casting his magic, he seemed to be in pain.
After much discussion and many many apologies. Guilted Chara has decided to allow mean to share more piece of her diary I found. They seem to be covered in thorns and leaves for reasons I do not even know. However, she has taken some of the pages away from me that she doesn't want shared. Now I have to help her with some of her self-imposed chores like to bring and hide food items in HorrorTale so people don't starve to death, I don't know why she just doesn't give them the food items directly something about getting in trouble with the other AU Deities especially the Deity of Continuity.
Month 12 Day 28 - Today is some Monster Holiday called the "Festival of Hopes and Dreams", it has a really fun tradition: everyone heads to waterfall and are given two small potted Echo flowers, In one you tell it something you hope to happen in the future, the other you tell something you dream to do when you are older, and you are told to hide them around waterfall! Theres are games, snacks, and monster soul flags everywhere! And before the night ends everyone returns to waterfall and attempts to find the hopes and dreams of another person and will try to guess who they belong to given 3 tries. Guess who won by being the last one left, ME!
Month 12 Day 30 - I learned why the festival of Hopes and Dreams exists. It's the Anniversary of when monsters were banished to the underground... why do they celebrate the day they were cruelly evicted from the surface. Dad says he declared it a holiday as a way to have monsters look towards a bright future and not the dark past.
Year 1 Month 2 Day 4 - Dr. ______ has taught me about the prophecy of the Delta rune: An "Angel" who has seen the surface would descend into the underground and the underground will go empty. However, Dr. ______ thinks this is a just a bunch of useless words and that "We cannot rely on some 'chosen' one to solve all our problems". I asked him if the prophecy was talking about me, he laughed and patted my head saying my dad sure thinks it means me especially with that birth mark of mine. Though this reminds me of my actual grandmother she would speak of prophecies, however she was mostly ignored by everyone in the village. Though it doesn't seem like they ignore all her prophecy's.
Year 1 Month 2 Day 13 - Everyone asked why I fell. Well, I told them some of it. I told them that I hated humanity and wanted to get away from them and came to a cave in Mount Ebott tripped and fell into the hole.
Year 1 Month 2 Day 14 - Seems, Asriel didn't believe it at face value. At our napping spot in waterfall next to the Musical statue he asked me again. So, I decided to tell him, he is my BEST Friend after all. I showed him the birthmark on my back it looks exactly like the Delta Rune he said.
Fair warning the next page might be too graphic for those with soft hearts and kind souls. It is also quite tragic.
Mom and Dad, if you are reading this, sorry for lying to you but it just hurt so bad. Here is what I told Asriel:
When I was Born, my grandmother touched me and had a heart attack, she survived but she has always had a connection with magic due to her ancestry, giving her "Visions" and prophecies'. She looked through her book of prophecies to one vision she had after my father was born: "A Child born with the mark of monsters and a powerful soul would be the incarnate of destruction and end all life". Everyone would stay away from me and keep their kids away. For years I would receive care from my father and Grandmother, however, my mother hated me. By the time I was 8, father would get drafted into a war and never came back, nobody told us of his death. Mother became unstable, so Grandma was taking care of me. When I was 9 Grandma got sick and died shortly after, but my mother started acting nice to me. At first, I thought she was actually trying. I made friends with a kid; I think his name was Sam... I never got to know him well, but he and his older brother had just moved to our village after a fire burned down theirs. Sam had many burns on his arms. A month would pass, Mom was acting strange one day when she put dinner on my plate... it was an arm... not just any but Sam's, I screamed in confusion as my mother stabbed herself in the chest multiple times until she fell over. I ran to her and removed the knife, not knowing that was exactly what she wanted as she used her last breath to tell me: "burn in hell demon child" laughing horrifically till, she died, and her pink soul shattered into a million pieces. I broke down in tears... laughing, this had to be some joke, right? Just when everything was looking up it turned to be a lie. I looked around the house for something, anything to wake me up from this horrid nightmare. Thats when I opened mom's closet, I was never allowed to before and I finally knew why. A rotting corpse with several stab wounds wearing my father's clothes was in there along with Sam's one-armed corpse, a jar labeled rat-poison, and a lighter that looked like it was leaking fluid.
I didn't know what it meant at the time but after an hour I knew she killed my father before he tried to leave for service, poisoned my grandmother, burnt down Sam's village and killed him. I felt enraged, black tears started coming from my eyes, I didn't like her, I disliked her, I HATED HER. I started stabbing my Mother's Corpse until I couldn't muster the strength anymore. Thats when the door burst open... It was Sam's older Brother; he looked in horror at what he saw. Me covered in blood with a knife in my mother's chest and Sam's arm on a plate on the table. I dropped the knife and ran to give him a hug when all the sudden a yellow bullet flew right by my head. His soul glowing bright Yellow with his hand out fingers pointed like a pistol his tears glowing yellow as they ran across his face eyes shrouded in darkness as if he had just lost everything. I tried to explain when he shot again closer to my face. I was scared so I ran, a couple bullets grazing my arms and legs. I jumped out the window getting a couple shards of glass in my feet, but I couldn't stop running. Everyone who saw me, screamed and cried out in fear. Several villagers pulling out pitchforks and any other weapons they had... they chased me up mount Ebott for days until they finally stopped. After starving for a few days, I found a hole in a cave, so I jumped. I tried to end my suffering hoping something sharp was at the bottom to pierce me through the chest and that's when I met Asriel that day and this wonderful family of monsters.
Year 2 Month 4 Day 30 - I had a nightmare last night. Asriel woke me up because it was keeping him awake, apparently my birthmark started glowing until he comforted me. I forgot exactly what the dream was about, but I started crying from it.
