Possible?

How feasible would it be to change the name of feminism to egalitarianism? My only reason for asking - is feminism often has a bad rap. A lot of things it has to stand for are so important - voting rights for women, equal pay and healthcare rights, and the freedom of (real and legitimate) abuse from men. When I say real and legitimate I mean - physically, emotionally and mentally - not things that hurt your feelings because you're oversensitive and need to grow up. Sadly, feminism has a bad rap from a lot of "feminazis" who are basically seeking to just make women the dominant gender, and or want to see men put down and to lose basic rights. Personally - I believe bringing in a new term for feminism is actually fighting for what it stands for. Egalitarianism - a movement fighting for equal rights in ALL areas for all genders and for ALL races and for ALL sexualities. This means things like equal pay in ALL fields (yes men can get payed less in female dominated fields too...), equal favouring in court hearings in regards to divorce and child custody. This means equal access to public healthcare. This means equal support for ALL victims of rape, abuse or harassment, regardless of gender. I'm sure there are many other important issues I could be missing but this is my application to you to be an egalitarian - fight for the rights of ALL genders and races and sexualities - not just a select few.
