“I know! And thank you! It’s just all that hard work paid off. I went from culinary school to working at a restaurant as a pastry chef and now as a business owner for my own bakery. Now I’m mostly making pastries and cakes for celebrity weddings and birthdays. Last week, I just got assigned to a job at the one and only Stormi’s bday party for Feb. Im getting well known by the minute and it’s helping me a lot to open up this bakery,” Mila said with a big smile. Then her smile faded abit and she nodded “Yeah one hundred percent I am ready. I know France and it has always been my dream to be able to open up a place out there too. I’m ready,” she nodded.
Mila knew what she was running away from and she hated that she was given an opportunity to go and do that. But she felt it was the safest option for her and everyone else that she loved. She chuckled abit “ I will be fine. I was there for a whole 7 years before coming back to Red Edge. Plus, I have friends there who are also there to support me to make sure that I am okay. I mean if you want…you and Jasmine could come down with me next Spring for the opening,” she shrugged with a big smile. “ Ha deal! I will ship it right over as soon as I get the chance,” she nodded.
"Milla, that’s incredible. You’ve worked so hard for this, and you deserve every bit of success coming your way. From culinary school to working with celebrities—now opening a bakery in France? That’s huge." He paused for a moment, watching as her smile faded slightly. "But hey… just make sure you’re doing this for you, not just to get away. I get that sometimes-leaving feels like the safest choice, but you shouldn’t have to run, Milla. You’ve got people here who care about you, too." Caleb gave her a small smile, trying to lighten the mood. "But if you are gonna do this, then yeah, you better believe Jasmine and I are coming next spring. No way we’re missing your big opening! And I will hold you to that pastry shipment—don’t think I won’t."
