Aerie’s Expressions by jack177
These Aerie faces are just gorgeous and so cute and expressive.
Wow... she's so... uh... beautiful?
I'm opening five spots to help my friend Calli (they/them), who currently needs help to afford food, medicine and pay for their healthcare. The money they receive will go to them and their whole family of 9 (plus cats). Calli's family consists of them, their 4 kids, their partner, their partner's parents who are two diabetics and their sister in law.
For more examples on my art check out @romana-colasour and #my art tag. I don't have a lot of things posted because my art blog is new compared to my current blog and my main one. But basically, if you ask for it, I will be able to draw it.
If you can't afford to pay for a commission then please reblog this post. This family really needs this money. I'm currently unemployed, but I'm still trying to help.
Please and thank you for your help 🙏
Why the fuck are people thirsting over Hasan Piker?????? I swear in the last few days I’ve seen news media (mostly LGBTQ) claiming that “oh my g-d, look how hot he looks and his body…damn” (shivers in disgust). Then someone called out the thirsters obsessing over Piker “Y’all do know he’s antisemitic as fuck, right?” And their response was “okay, and???” Or “he’s not antisemitic, just anti-Zionist” or “well, is his opinions wrong?”….
I think the real hater of the jewish people are the ones doing a genocide in the name of jedaism, not the guy saying doing genocide regardless of your motives is bad. But when the star of david is a terror symbol thanks to the idf, i'm sure you'll trick yourself into thinking it's the twitch streamers fault lol.
ONE: There is no genocide in Gaza(especially in the name of Judaism *fixed your mistake * AND the Star of David isn’t a terror symbol *again I fixed your mistake*). What is happening over there is urban warfare gone wrong (meaning Hamas with help has pumped out propaganda against Israel and Jews and people from all over are eating it up like candy and crack cuz common sense and critical thinking has left the door for a lot of y’all. Also a lot of y’all were already antisemitic from the start so y’all used it as an excuse…).
No one wanted this and has been demanding the war to end so we can free ALL hostages (including the dead and the ones that are not even from Israel). We also DO want peace for Gaza and West Bank but that sadly won’t happen until Hamas and other terrorist organizations are taken out (then they would have to rebuild their government with HELP…).
PEOPLE had been protesting since day ONE but y’all chose to ignore it and claim that we are “genocide loving maniacs”. It has been proven MULTIPLE FUCKING TIMES that the numbers of those killed in Gaza (and intel) was tampered with but y’all are choosing to ignore that fact.
You can hate the war (we all do) but villainizing ALL Israelis and Jews is wrong and it does not solve the problem. All it does is promote violence against innocent people. You can also criticize the Israeli government (I do along with other governments- I mean the US can’t say much cuz look at who’s running the country?) but blaming the whole country for this war (that could have been prevented if Hamas did not attack on oct. 7 along other factors too) is ONCE AGAIN wrong.
Y’all can have your opinions on this war BUT using this war as your whole personality is beyond fucked up (putting it nicely). You can’t just focus on one war while ignoring other wars and actual genocides (looking at Russia, China, Sudan,Syria, Turkey…).
TWO: yeah… I’m not gonna touch on your weird obsession with Piker cuz just browsing through your blog gave me a headache. You do you I guess but just a little suggestion? Obsessing over a person isn’t healthy (especially if you’re at the the stage where you are actively defending very questionable shit that they’ve done). Maybe seek therapy?
one of my fears is that i'll be 7 hours down my dash reblogging things not knowing that, like, the end of the world is happening. everyone is posting shit like FUCK THE MARTIANS HAVE TOUCHED DOWN IN LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA meanwhile i'm like here's a picture of snoopy :-)
The recent US peace plan is even more of a joke than the last one.
It's basically a Russian wish list.
And Ukraine gets what? "US guarantees" LMFAO YEAHHHHHH

‘Finding Batman’, written by voice actor Kevin Conroy who recently died at the age of 66 from cancer. (Capital F, FUCK cancer!). The short comic was published in DC Pride 2022 and it details “Conroy’s tragic childhood and experience as a gay actor. It details how he missed many acting opportunities due to his sexuality or times when others in the industry casually threw homophobic slurs at him. In addition to being a gay man in a time when Hollywood was less accepting of homosexuality, he also came from a broken home. His father was an alcoholic who attempted suicide, his parents divorced, and his brother struggled with mental illness. Not only did he have to “mask” his sexuality from others, but also “mask” his own personal pain….Conroy elaborated that all of these experiences allowed him to connect with the character of Batman, one that he previously knew little about, in a highly profound way.” (Source) I didn’t watch much television around 1992 when Batman: The Animated Series started airing but, for some reason, I took time to watch this version of Batman (a character I hadn’t given much attention. In fact, I didn’t give DC Comics much attention until Vertigo started in 1993). I don’t remember why I started watching B:TAS, it was probably the animation style that initially caught my attention, but the show itself was interesting enough to hook me. I kept watching right up until the show was cancelled in 1995. I give primary credit here to Conroy’s performance as Batman (and Bruce Wayne) which brought an unexpected nuance and maturity to an animated character that really helped elevate the show into something enduring (noting other additions of the shows legacy like the revamping of Mr. Freeze, the introduction of the character Harley Quinn, Mark Hamill’s portrayal of the Joker, etc.) Whenever I think of Batman, it’s Conroy’s version of Batman that comes to mind. Conroy IS Batman. Conroy defined the voice and sentiment of Batman having played the character longer than any other actor. It was Conroy who first used two distinctive voices for Bruce Wayne and Batman, a method every subsequent actor who as portrayed the character of Batman has replicated. It was Conroy’s voice acting that helped make the Rocksteady Studios ‘Arkham’ games so much fun to play. Conroy’s Batman is the best Batman. Oh, I lifted the comic from here.
Man eating rice, China, 1901-1904
this is an extremely important picture
Ive never seen someone from 1904 having fun omg
He has a nice face
No but the history behind this picture is really interesting
The reason that everyone always looked miserable in old photos wasn’t that they took too long to take. Once photography became widespread it took only seconds to take a picture.
It was because getting your photo taken was treated the same as getting your portrait painted. A very serious occasion meant so thst your descendants would know that ypu existed and what you looked like.
But one time some British dudes went to china to go on an anthropological expedition, and they met some rural Chinese farmers and decided to take their pictures. Now, these people weren’t exposed to the weird culture of the time around getting your photo taken, so this guy just flashed a big grin during the photo because he was told to strike a pose and that’s the pose he wanted to strike.
I think painted portraits and old photos give us the idea that in general people were just really unhappy because those are the visuals we have. This is so refreshing.
Hey, look; “Man Laughing Alone With Rice” is back on my dash.
always reblog Happy Rice Guy. once upon a time, he really enjoyed his lunch, and that’s beautiful.

Look, I believe in and support the 2 state solution, even though I know for a fact that extremists on both sides would rather everyone die than make the compromises that would allow that to happen.
However, yeah, all the discourse online sounds EXACTLY, like nazis blaming everything under the sun on Jews. If you buy into all of this then you are exactly the same as the folks who agreed with the nazis that Jews caused *checks notes* disease, the burning of Rome, the American Revolution, landslides, and the incompetence of the Italian military. You are the exact sort of person for whom propaganda was made and who it influences and brainwashes.
Quite frankly, if you were old enough (teens and 20's and onwards) and living in America when 9/11 happened, you most likely fell for the anti-Muslim propaganda that saturated this country afterwards. You were the sort of person who would have, or did, harass the Muslims in your community and the mosque down the street. Yanno, instead of focusing that pain and anger on the terrorists and militants who actually did the deed.
Propaganda worked on people like you in the 1930's and 1940's, it worked on people like you after 9/11, and it works on people like you now. Go and collect your shitty, brainwashed prize.
listen we all hate godwin’s law but antisemitic propaganda is identical century to century the nazis are not unique nor are hamas in this
