J. Could you live without having sex ever (again) in exchange for eternal youth?
Yes because I am pretty sure I lean on the asexual side. Eternal youth is not as great as you might think. It is if you have someone you love but they must also be asexual since you both can’t have sex ever again is the deal right?
Look at plastic surgery and the women of Hollywood. Read Bridge to Terabithia.
Twilight if you’ve read it (or any other vampire thing I haven’t seen Vampire Diaries but I assume same thing; Dracula is a pain to read)
you will understand why we are obsessed with vampires. Offered the chance of eternal beauty, strength, power for too long a time none of the vampires are particularly happy unless they have a mate.
Also Voldemort. I mean drinking unicorn blood? Nicolas Flemel was a wise guy for destroying the philosopher’s stone.
L. The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?
The Beatles because they came first. Unfortunately I don’t know/haven’t listened to all The Beatles nor The Rolling Stones song because of…reasons. I MISSED THE CHANCE TO SEE SIR PAUL LIVE FOR FREE. I would definitely go see a Rolling Stones concert because I don’t understand how Mick Jagger did all those drugs and is still alive. I think we need to study his genes.
N. What was the worst nightmare you ever had?
I don’t remember my dreams, only briefly the feeling lingers for about 5 minutes and it’s usually followed by WTF. I have heard dreams from my friends so I KNOW our subconscious is ridiculous. I do know that there are things that appear again and again in dreams like the feeling of falling (the kick in INCEPTION I’ve had one of those dreams) The problem with dream interpretation is that the meaning is so hard to decipher. It’s like the Golden Compass, only Lyra could figure out the answer from the symbols in 2 minutes meanwhile scholars devoted their WHOLES LIVES trying to be able to use it. Waste of time quite frankly.
I do recall one time when I was 4/5? that I woke up crying in hysteria to the point my mom had to sit and comfort me for an hour or something. Something about my dad dying or abandoning me. OMG DADDY ISSUES NU R'LLY?
R. Do you have any (secret) feelings of bigotry to any group of people?
Black people because I didn’t have a lot of black people where I grew up. I do get along with them and I’m not going to pull the I’M NOT RACIST BECAUSE I HAVE TONS OF BLACK FRIENDS because in reality I don’t. There was a girl in my grade 2 class who was like REALLY DARK AFRICAN called Objiwia? who was fine. In the same class there was also a blonde blue eyed girl called Isabel from South Africa (also fiine ) but like if you’re from Africa, why are you white?
Last month-ish I watched an episode of Rapcity on muchmusic (Canada’s MTV WITH ACTUAL MUSICoMG) for the first time and it was a half hour of dope lyrics + music videos. I can’t remember the artists’ name but a song about bad bitch and another about fathers why they are protective of their daughters because no teenage boy is worthy of her. Also a lot of booty shaking.
On Wednesday, a friend explained to me the difference between R&B and rap and it was Suddenly Clarity Clarence moment.
R&B/hiphop is like country music (MY GIRL LEFT ME I’m SOoo ALONE my BOOoooo) . Rap is more raw because behind it is rage (screamo). Apparently Eminem managed to combine those two and that is why he became so successful.
So FINALLY I get it what the difference is but I will probably continue just listening to indie and classical music; that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a R&B/hiphop/rap song. Hammertime is anytime.
I don’t think racism against black people will ever be appropriately eliminated until everyone becomes Beyonce.
