He looks up at Brian, who winks and turns back to the teacher. Brock fishes a pen out of his pencil case and scribbles a reply: ‘We go together.’

He taps Brian on the shoulder, and he takes the note, smiling softly at the reply. He writes a final message on the back of the note:
