Sticks sometimes use makeup to 'accessorize'! As an example, here's a stick I drew named Cadmium:

As mentioned before, though, it can sometimes be a thing sticks have to represent family or close-knit communities. Usually the tell-tale difference is how localized they are— plain bands on the wrist are usually the way sticks will do this. This is mostly a thing with more solid-color sticks like King or the CG though: sticks who are more like Mitsi or Agent (similar color schemes to other sticks of their type) may not do this. Sometimes they might get gifted colored accessories by a stick of that type, though! It's just not really something they do themselves since it's not part of their culture.

lots of avians and some valkyries + lore about sticks! also note about the accessories thing: since SC changes their hairstyle up a lot they sometimes wear their accessories as bracelets. I hadn't really fully decided what to do with them until now though so they were missing in previous drawings ^^'

also insane to me that alan never clarified what happened to hangman. please. i need to know. SURELY he doesn't just erase them. what the fuck happened did he know about the outernet yet? is hangman just loose on the web? PLEASE ALAN

Do Alan’s wings in the avian au after they were regrown grew in straighter or at least a bit better than before because it would definitely be interesting if they grew in straighter or a bit better

they do! The way his wings grow he needs assistance in freeing them (usually surgical intervention, which isn't great but with instant health and healing potions they can do it without TOO much risk) (inspired by a fic if anyone knows the one i'm thinking of please link it), but once they're aware of the issue it's not too much of a problem—

Except during AVA s3. It's kind of hard to get surgical intervention when you're in a pseudo-apocalypse... unless we see a established holdout I'm gonna say he probably has a similar thing happen with more consequences!

It's very possible Alan might die, but I haven't decided what exact side effects phoenixes have when they die? Or what would happen to Alan in particular? Because it's possible because of him being a former human something unique happens. There's a lotta possibilities, so I'm having trouble deciding!

also on the topic of alan being a new avian. he's also really bad at controlling his body language past his actual body so he very often will threat posture things he's unfamiliar with/scared by. this makes him a terrible liar and also makes it very clear something is weird about him but king isn't one to pry.

he also keeps threat posturing king for a while when he finds out he almost killed the cg (his flock) but the two eventually learn to get along! alan is pretty forgiving considering he Also did that
