Calicraft Brewing Co. and @thenewparkway are ecstatic to present a truly unique beer and food pairing event to Kill Bill 2. Following the success of last year's Kill Bill Night at Sundance Kabuki Cinema, we decided it was appropriate to bring the action packed sequel to our favorite theater in the East Bay. Expect a rip roaring night of enjoying event exclusive beers and food created specifically to pair with chapters of Kill Bill 2. Think Tex Mex meets Japanese. Please arrive at 7pm for appetizers, drinks, and a conversation with the Calicraft brewers on the Mezzanine. At 7:45, we'll head into the theater, along with course #2 for chapters 6, 7, and 8 of Kill Bill: Volume 2. Between chapters 8 and 9, we'll take an intermission for course #3. Following the film, we'll enjoy the dessert course. Each course will include both phenomenal food paired with signature Calicraft brews. THE TAPROOM IS NOW OPEN AT NOON ON FRIDAYS! NEW RELEASE FRIDAY: Cool Kidz Batch #2 Cool Kidz is one of the beers in our new experimental IPA series. This beer uses the "coolest" hops we can find, focusing on tropical and citrus aromas. At 7.2% ABV and 35 IBUs this beer is crushable. We ferment it dry and leave it unfiltered to emphasize the massive hop flavor and aroma. Batch 2 focuses on Citra and Mandarina Bavaria with Galaxy rounding out the dry hop. Same malt bill and hopping amount as batch 1, we are only changing the variety of hops. We are kegging the beer this Friday and then putting them on draft that same afternoon, so stop by for a couple pints and a growler! We are now open at noon on Fridays!

Way Back When Growing up outside of Chico, California, Blaine Landberg was surrounded by craft brew enthusiasts. In his family, Christmas wasn’t about presents. It was about who brought the coolest beer. That was usually Uncle Gary. To an underage nine-year-old, these bottles were hilarious. Hence, Blaine’s surprising answer to “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Each beer is barrel aged for at least 9 months with brettanomyces and lactobacillus. To celebrate we are offering more uber limited bottled sours from the vault including. Barrel Project: Sour Zinfandel 2016 Barrel Project: Sour Zinfandel 2015 Buzzerkeley Barrel Project: Sauvignon Blanc 2014.
