We are Californians who have found ourselves on the opposite coast. We rep our beloved state. Hard. We thrive in 60-degree weather, rock flip flops year round, chill through earthquakes, shred in the Sierras, voted for Obama, hammer Top Dog, crush in Yosemite, stoke out with Kendrick Lamar, climb sick mountains, and rage like we’re underage. Nights typically end with getting kicked out of dive bars, pounding carne asada fries with lax surfer bros, forming alliances with midwest public-school kids, and watching the Giants win (that’s right they’re a fucking baseball team). This was created to document how our lives go down on a coast where the states are tiny and the people don’t wear basketball shorts to bars. Oh, and no one calls it “Cali.” #caliexpats
