Hi, I'm Callie. I live in good old California, and no--not near the celebrities. I spend a lot of time on tumblr, mostly posting random crap, but also liveblogging baseball games (OAKLAND A'S), reblogging stuff from Psych, Chuck, Haven, Gilmore Girls, Criminal Minds, 30 Rock, and more. I like Kelly Clarkson and much, much more, a lot of it only shows up from time to time. I do not intend to please anyone with my content; I just post things I like. Therefore, I don't do follow for follow because I could care less if you follow me. I have no follower goal. I started watching “the way home” a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it and now I’m obsessed with Chyler Leigh.

So I started watching some OLD stuff she was in. Found a clip of her first ever movie where she had to make out with her own real-life brother (multiple times). 🤢 (Hollywood is soooo gross, why would they do that. She was 15, how was she supposed to say no??)

I watched the video of her now-husband Nathan West proposing to her on the set of Not Another Teen Movie. (I also watched a live stream the two of them did a few years ago while they were waiting to fly home…they are still SO cute together. Married over 20 years, together for like 23 or 24.)

I also saw her short-lived tv show “Safe Harbor” where Nathan was her love interest…then saw clips from her role on 7th Heaven (oh man, I remember watching these episodes!!) and guess who her husband was in the episodes…Nathan West!

They are so cute together and I love how many roles they’ve done together. And apparently she sings/records with him sometimes since he’s a musician too. Adorable.

And Chyler is also just straight up adorable on her own. New favorite actress of the moment.

In “Safe Harbor,” Chyler looks so different. Obviously she’s got blonde hair, but even her face looks different. I tried to block the hair and look at just the face, and I decided she looks more like 1999 Kat Landry in The Way Home, who is obviously played by a totally different actress. Ironically, 1999 is when Safe Harbor came out.

Kinda awkward, someone was giving away dryer balls on my Buy Nothing Group on Facebook & I asked for them. I got a message today from the person saying she’s my student’s stepmom and she can send them with her tomorrow. That’s not the super awkward part. What’s awkward is I had an online message scheduled to send home to her family about how defiant she has been among other issues. So that was scheduled like 30 minutes after I said “yes, dryer balls please!” 😂

My mom used to have a German shepherd, Iara, that was smart enough to train herself to catch chickens that got out of their enclosure and hold them down until a human retrieved the unharmed chicken... but not smart enough to walk past the end of this chickenwire partition in the yard if a chicken was on the other side of it.

Dogs are WEIRD about fences. I have trained 2 dogs in recent years. The smaller pit mix disregards all obstacles. Fences and couches and walls are suggestions. He will go over or through anything between him and his mama. He walked through a screen door like it wasn't there last time he was over. No respect for it being closed.

My 130 lb malamute? Can be stopped by a 1lb bit of broken baby gate that isn't even attached to anything. It just leans against the wall and NOTHING can make him believe that he can go over it or knock it down. If it falls it's a giant disaster where he has to stare at it and cry because now it's still blocking him, just flat on the ground. I once managed to pen him in using couch cushions. Not even offering him his favorite treats could make him believe he could knock them over and get out.

Both dogs are BRILLIANT animals. But neither one can be even slightly normal about boundary markers.
