The most ridiculous thing to ever come out of HIMYM wasn’t the finale, it was the idea that Lily settled for Marshall. The man was 6 foot 4 inches of pure love and kindness, enjoyed being the little spoon and wasn’t afraid to ask for it, was never afraid to show or ask for physical affection, absolutely CHUGGED Respect My Wife and Women Juice, LOVED HIS PARENTS SO MUCH, was NEVER afraid to show any of his friends how much he cared about them (no toxic masculinity here), believed in Nessie and Bigfoot and ghosts, wanted to become an environmental lawyer to protect the earth, admitted it when he messed up and apologized for it always, completely devoid of toxic masculinity, and their sex life was insane. Marshall Eriksen is the complete package and the gang is a fool for thinking he’s anything less.
