callmerevenge-shay:
You know it’s not all about you.
But yeah it would suck. You should probably go to a healer, you could be spreading the plague as we speak. I’ll walk with you and make sure you get check out. Come on.
You know you don't have to butt into my fucking business.
..Fine.
callmerevenge-shay:
But you’re always so nice to me Shay…
Maybe it’s because you like me~~~
Me? Liking you? Preposterous. You're not even my type.
callmerevenge-shay:
Ouch
So harsh Shay, what happened to the sweet girl I met?
When was I ever sweet? Because I believe that that should be a landmark event in world history.
callmerevenge-shay:
He must be a lucky guy then!
So how are you Shay? I’ve heard you got yourself into bit of a… catfight?
I guess so.
It's only called a catfight if the other girl actually hit you. And some people are just too damn sensitive. You'd think because she's an earth bender, she would have some backbone. But no. She's a coward.

Woah you got it, Shay. Message received.
Great.
We'll just have to see if I will be able to muster enough willpower to actually tolerate you. But the forecast looks good, so more power to you.
I don't know if it's the rations here or just the environment, but I'm not feeling too well. Throwing up is digusting.
callmerevenge-shay:
Only slightly overbearing?
You must be a very patient person then!
Very funny.
I'm actually very impatient. He just hasn't hit the wrong cord yet, I'm assuming.
A Bumpy Start || Inanna and Shay
callmerevenge-shay:
Shock ran through Inanna’s body so strong she almost forgot the dislike she had of this girl. Her, like Syraoran? In a romantic way? She couldn’t fathom it in her head but it sent fear through her, what if he thought that too. Inanna had never had many friends before the Academy; it was a combination of her temper which had always gotten her into trouble, her dedication to her bending training and her unwillingness to engage in pointless social interaction. After a while, her peers had learned to fear not only her strength and bending ability but her refusal to never back down, even if she knew she was going to lose. But she wanted to be friends with Syaoran, he had been kind and he said things that were interesting not pointless and boring. And she realized she cared what he thought about her because she wanted to be his friend and for him to like her. Viciously, she pushed this thought to the back of her mind.
The slap hit her across the face and she stood and took it; slowly raising her hand to the smarting spot, that way, Shay had laid the first blow and anything beyond this point was perfectly justified. A slow smile spread over Inanna’s face, one of her most dangerous. So this girl thought she wasn’t strong, thought she was at the Academy for her smarts rather than her bending. Book learning had never been Inanna’s strong point, she’d always run on outside to train or play sport, she wasn’t smart and weak, wielding only measly words and facts.
Anger boiled in the pit of Inanna’s stomach and she balled her hands into strong fists. She reasoned she couldn’t bend in a moment of clarity, the corridors would likely collapse if she tried and their fight was already starting to draw a crowd of students stopping and beginning to whisper. She promised herself she would get this girl back in some other way. She could use the crowds against her
Realising she’d been standing silently fuming possibly visibly, she scoffed at the other girl’s misinformed insults. Intending to sting, she spoke slowly and loudly, only drawing more people to them. “You must be a bit stupid, Shay. Please, a waterbender like you stronger than an Earthbender, that’d be the day. My bending is founded on strength, waterbending is founded on spirituality and phases of the moon or some shit, hardly a “strong” element and I’m sure I could take you on.”
The words were tumbling out of her mouth with alarming speed and ease on her part. She wasn’t used to fighting her battles with words to say the least but somehow she could find the words. She didn’t necessarily believe what she was saying at all, her only desire at this point was to sting and bite and hurt. It was so unlike her, crowds usually made her uncomfortable she wasn’t used to working them to her advantage. She stepped closer to the girl and spoke in a lower voice only for her, driving every word out past her teeth with all the anger and malice that was burning up inside her.
“I would wipe the floor with you bitch, you aint hot shit and everyone knows it. I’ll be seeing you, you can count on it.”
Inanna turned on her heel, still not fully sure of what she had done.
Shay never thought about consequences. Ever. Consequences wasn't part of her vocabulary. Honestly, she wasn't here to make friends. She wasn't. She was here for safety. That's it. Shay never thought of anything else, and this frizzy haired bitch thought that she could outsmart Shay. People would assume that Shay was all brawn, and not brains. In fact, she was one of the most intelligent people in her tribe. Shay scoffed crossing her arms. She noticed some people surrounding the two, and it was slowly becoming a show. Shay listened to her, and laughed in the slightest. This ignorant slob.
She replied shooting her down, " How uneducated are you? Truly. You're ignorant, and I don't associate myself with idiots which you clearly are. An educated person would know that water bending is about becoming one with the moon. And without the 'moon shit', guess what. The whole fucking world would be in whack. You make rocks float. Pretty." She mocked her with every word becoming more poisonous as she continued speaking, " Earth bending is just brawn and brute strength. But if someone is just strong and not witty, then you're just throwing rocks everywhere but get defeated because you were stupid enough to have a blind spot."
Shay shook her head, and rolled her eyes while listening to Inanna attempt to taunt her, " You think you're a badass. I feel sorry for you. Because we all know I could beat your sorry ass." While Inanna turned away from her, Shay casually pushed her, " Oh! Sorry." She smiled condescendingly and turned away as well. Looking around at the crowd, Shay gave them all a big grin, " Next showing's tomorrow at noon."

A Bumpy Start || Inanna and Shay
callmerevenge-shay:
Inanna was taken aback by the other girl’s curt tone and her sudden standoffishness. Semi unconsciously Inanna mimicked Shay’s folded arms and shifted her stance back somewhat defensively.
“I’m just trying to figure out his circle I guess,” she said, raising an eyebrow. “Where are you headed so recklessly anyway, Shay?”
She said her name with some malice in her tone, intending to mock. Though really wondering where that name was from; it didn’t sound particularly watertribeian. But then she had some odd names in her family too.
Inanna took another look at this Shay girl now, having pushed her burning anger and annoyance to the back of her mind; feeling only an eroding dislike forming in the pit of her stomach. She seemed to be of Northern Water Tribe descent from what she could gather, as she had only ever had that age old book of the tribes her uncle kept from near 200 years ago, she could be mistaken. The jewel about her neck was traditionally water tribe and she saw she was clutching it, perhaps even without realising it. Inanna had always thought their jewellery was beautiful, it suited Shay. She was somewhat strongly built, especially for the usual willowy benders of her tribe and she had a bit of a tummy on her, which kind of looked out of place.
Without thinking too much about it, Inanna smirked a little and blurted out. “I’m heading to gym, perhaps it would do you good to join me?”
Shay watched Inanna mock her, and her mouth quickly morphed into a scowl. She listened to her speak, and every time she opened her mouth, Shay just wanted to shove something in her mouth. All she could think was, 'Shut up. Shut up. Shut up." Shay smirked, " Why? Does somebody have a crush on Syaoran? Someone must care a whole lot if they're asking around about that person." Shay spoke in a condescending tone, anything to make her go away.
She then glanced away from her then back quickly saying, " Back to my room. What about you? Are you going to go stalk more of Syaoran's friends?" Shay sighed scolding herself for not being nice. She had to keep on reminding herself of Reise. It hurt to think of Reise. Of course it did. It hurt even more to know that there was a baby Reise inside of her.
That's when it hit her. How is she going to do it? How was she going to raise a child? She's on the run. She's lost and confused. There was no Reise to guide her. Shay didn't know what to do.
Inanna's voice snapped her out of her trance. Shay looked at her with her mouth agape. She quickly slapped her across the face, " Excuse me? For your information, I am surely more fit than you are and certainly stronger. Watch your goddamn mouth, book girl."

Haha no I was born in the Fire Nation.
My father was a firebender and my mother was an earthbender. That’s why my brother is a firebender. I don’t suppose you’ve met my brother Taro?
Oh yes, Taro. Fiery. The slightest bit overbearing, but manageable. I'm familiar with him.

Inanna stopped for a second, cursing inside her head, she’d probably seen her drawings from back home, of the docks and the flora and fauna of the earth kingdom. She considered that personal, it was almost her heritage, or at least how she kept track of it for herself. Well, it’s not like she knew this girl right?
She looked up. Shit, she kind of did know her. She was that waterbender girl she’d seen talking to Syaoran the other day, Inanna was sure of it, she never forgot a face; yes this was definitely her. And she wanted to be friends with Syaoran, were they friends? She wondered, she wasn’t sure but she should be civil and calm herself down.
Inanna scowled at the floor but took a quiet calming breath as she got to her feet gingerly, rubbing the place where she’d landed though it was not as bruised as her pride. “I’m fine, thanks for asking.” She dusted herself off and fixed her face into a tight smile, putting it aside, for now. “You weren’t looking either; we walked into each other and seeing as I went flying across the floor, let’s call it even. I’m Inanna anyway. You know Syaoran right?” How nice do I have to be? She asked herself, working hard on her smile as she did.
Shay crossed her arms. She didn't have time to be nice to people. In fact, she didn't have time for this. Sure she didn't have anywhere to go, but this is definitely not where Shay wanted to go. Shay exhaled annoyed. She wanted to open her mouth and make a smart remark about how she didn't care about the girl's well being, but bit her tongue. Shay had promised Reise that she would try to be nicer. She heard the girl reply, and raised her shoulders as a sign of agreement. Shay didn't want to waste her time, and this was clearly a waste of time.
She replied bitterly, " Shay." Hearing the name Syaoran, Shay had to think for a moment. She always remembered names, but she had to match the name to the face. Oh yes, Syaoran. Shay remembered now. He was the Earth bender she had ran into. She nodded curious as to why the girl called Inanna was wondering in the first place, " I've talked to him a couple times. Why?"

Inanna looked down at her workbook, smiling a little, pleased with her work in art club. Sure, it wasn’t what she was used to drawing but she was happy with how it turned out and it was expanding her skill. Her mother would never approve, had always encouraged her turn her attention to more “useful” and “practical” pursuits. Her father had laughed and let her get on with it; she’d learned to stop showing them her work and bringing it up around them. But she had by no means given up drawing and now she had a chance to pick up something else too, perhaps painting. It excited her really. But her family’s disproval still sat at the back of her mind, niggling like a buzzing in her ear. She shook her head and was about to shove the sketchbook away in her bag when she walked smack-bang into someone and was thrown backwards to the ground. Her book was knocked out of her hand and fell open on the ground a few feet away.
“By the spirits! Watch where you’re going would you?” she exclaimed in annoyance, trying to scramble for her book. She tried to surreptitiously stuff it into her bag while still not looking up at the person who had knocked her back like this, feeling embarrassed but masking it with anger. She hoped this person hadn’t seen her drawings; her hobby was something she’d like to keep to herself.
Shay had just gone on one of her usual strolls around the academy. She usually did them when she was simply done with the day, and needed to cool off some steam. Literally. Shay would go to the hot springs and bend the water there. She had an idea of what was going on with her, but she didn't want to believe it. No. This couldn't be happening. Not to her. Shay didn't want to think about anything that was going on. Walking back to the academy, she felt the pendant on her neck. Shay took in a sharp breath feeling it and remembering Reise. Remembering the way he felt on her skin, the kisses they shared, and the way his voice sounded in her ear as he laid her down.
Shay was looking down at her necklace walking, and ran into someone. Shay was rather strongly built, and made an impact on the other person as he or she was blown away at least three feet. She heard the voice of the person and deducted that it was a girl. Hearing her annoying voice, Shay rolled her eyes. She glanced down at the book and saw a flicker of some drawings. They were actually rather good, Shay had to admit. She would've looked at it closer, but the girl snatched it up. Shay replied annoyed, " You know I really would've if you hadn't been sticking your nose in that little book of yours."
