A theory on Lokis death and possible next appearances.
I looked something up, and I‘m saying that Loki isn‘t dead.
He didn‘t actually die in Infinity War because I saw something and when a little boy asked Tom Hiddleston on the Ace Con about it, Tom didn‘t quiet know how to answer the question. Well he actually did not answer to the question. So I looked for it:
On the top left corner you can see a man standing up right in the moment when Loki gets choked by Thanos.
And this was Tom‘s reaction to the boy asking if Loki still was alive:

In the beginning you can see Toms immediate reaction to this question, he seems like he‘s thinking of not spoiling. Also Tom never answers to the boy‘s question, which is very, very suspicious.
I personally think, that the man in the back of Lokis death scene is actually Loki. Loki probably wanted Thanos and Thor to think that Loki had died.
I also think that Loki stayed in disguise until 2023, since Loki was controlled by Thanos in the first Avengers movie, he might have known about Thanos‘ plan and wanted Thor to kill Thanos. Loki stayed away because he knew Thor would want revenge; Thor had claimed that Loki is actually important to him and Loki probably kept that in mind. So to keep the Avengers to do what they needed to do, Loki stayed away from earth, to be no distraction.
So the Avengers save the world and kill Thanos, Lokis original mission (to get the team together in Avengers 1, I will add the theory of that one at the end of this theory) is done, now that this is done he doesn‘t have an actual purpose. So maybe he will make an appearance in GOTG3. Where I think Thor and the Guardians might find the Loki that ‚died‘ in Infinity War. Loki might explain himself to Thor, why he did what he did but he probably wouldn’t stay with Thor and the Guardians.
I think that is how the Loki series might start and I hope that 2012 Loki that escaped in Endgame will interact with 2018 Loki from Infinity War.
This is just a theory, might not be true, but I‘m hoping it is.
