Tbh Yang is probably better than most of the current democratic candidates. But dems have a hard-on for joe biden. They want to fight a white misogynistic racist (trump) with another one (biden). “There is a bigoted piece of shit in office right now but vote for ours! Yes, he’s also a bigoted piece of shit too but you have to choose him!”

This is the best answer dems can come up with when the bar is so low and they can’t even produce anyone worthy of being chosen nor do they bother trying to.

Film Lineage. Michelangelo Antonioni’s film Blow Up influenced a couple decades of film brat imitators. You could almost slap it on as a genre unto itself each director using that wrapper to study his own vices. Coppala with loneliness and trust, Argento with horror giallo (one could say all of his 70′s film use the “Dangling Thread” wrapper), and De Palma with politic angst.
