Like always, Calvin was running late to class. Even if he planned out his time perfectly so he would have a hour to get ready, he always found himself fumbling with which shirt to wear and it always made him late. But considering the day, he couldn’t be late. Not when one of the first tests of the semester was about to happen within the next forty minutes. He was walking fast, not particularly paying attention to the people on the streets instead he was glued to his cellphone. That was, until he ran right into an older male and suddenly hearing the sound of a drink crash onto the floor. “Shit -- I’m so sorry.” He pleaded, rubbing the back of his neck as his face showed so much embarrassment. “It’s my fault - I’m an idiot.” He reached for his wallet out of his back pocket, rummaging through the cash within it, “Five dollars should cover it, yeah?” He asked, handing out the crisp bill to the other.
