Currently in: Davos, Switzerland. We’re in love with the Intercontinental Hotel in Davos.
Currently in Frankfurt, Germany. It’s cold for us So. Cal peeps. But its a warm season for the locals.
Happy New Year! El Niño is here which means more snow days for us! Before our busy wedding season begins, we decided to hit the slopes one more time before our trip to the Alps! Like always, we took the pups with us!
Lately we’ve been coming across articles that discuss our beloved pets crossing the “rainbow bridge” and combining that with our first holiday without Tobey has made the past few days quite emotional. Here’s a throwback Thursday photo of our big guy at his favorite mountain, Mammoth.
Tobey was 5 years old in this image. Miss you, big guy.
Hello there Swiss Alps! We took this photo en route to JoBerg, S. Africa thinking how awesome it would be to go there one day. Well, one day is coming in less than two months!!!
As always, Mammoth Mountain was great! Got some early runs in for the season and enjoyed not needing to wait in line for the lifts. Although, it got a bit icy at the top as the day progressed. After we got to play, we took the pups out to romp around in the snow which they love to do! *snowboarding pics from our camera phones the rest came out of our DSLR*
It’s Cam’s birthday tomorrow, so we’re in Mammoth! Can’t wait to hit the slopes tomorrow!
Sometimes we are lucky enough to take the pups with us on our assignments throughout California. Last weekend, we found ourselves in San Diego and took our girls to Coronado Island. Ada, the chocolate lab is entering her final months as an 11 year old. She still has her spunk and loved swimming in the ocean on a warm autumn day. Bessie, the golden retriever just turned two and we are learning she is not much of a fan of the ocean but is happy to tan on the sand.
Can't believe it's been 4 weeks since you passed away. We miss you every day Tobey.
Tracy loves everything pumpkins and fall. Although its technically fall, the weather in So. Cal isn’t so much. So a few days ago Tracy decided to at least make it feel like the autumn season with this DIY centerpiece for our farmhouse dining table thanks to Joanna Gaines via the Magnolia Farms blog. Hopefully these can last through Thanksgiving! :)
The moon wasn’t as large as we anticipated but we took a few shots anyway.
Back where we said our vows! Can't wait to see what this year has in store for us. Thank you Lawry's for the amazing meal once again. (at Lawry's The Prime Rib)
NYC. You always give a wonderful skyline and leave us with great stories to tell. ‘Till next time...
We're in Central California over the weekend for work. We decided to stay in the nearby small town of Templeton, California at the cutest AirBnB rental. The great thing about our jobs is having the opportunity to explore new places. For breakfast, we dined at one of the newest restaurants in town, Kitchenette. Love their organic, locally sourced menu. After this meal, we’ll be heading up to Paso Robles for work...another great place for wine tasting.

Our favorite part about driving through Europe was finding little towns along the way. These were taken en route from Vienna to Munich, Germany in Mondsee, Austria. While we were taking a break to stretch our legs, we talked about how the town reminds us of scenes from the Sound of Music. We didn’t find out until recently that the cathedral used in the film was actually in this town. Bummer. The hills were alive with the Sound of Music.
Just returned from a quick mini-vacation to Miami Beach, Florida. Lucky for us, we have friends who are full-and part-time residents and they were more than accommodating to us. We came home sad, but definitely relaxed and more tan!
