*CLYDE
He’s still sniffing, tears softly trickling down his soft cheeks. Clyde had far from calmed down, but at the least he had stopped wailing by the time David asked. At least… maybe. Sleeves of his jacket pressed to his eyes, rubbing and chaffing them until they were red. “… Nooo. It’s stupid… I knew it was going to happen…” Tears immediately poured over, lip quivering. He didn’t really need any persuasion to tell what happened— eagerness to tell him was over boiling already as words continued to spill. “I got du—mped!!… Gamergirl69 du—mped me—!!!”
There would be no denying that it indeed was stupid. Partially, the other believed it was nothing more but a practical joke, a lie in order to grab his attention from his usual duties ( a typical ), but the tears that stain his cheeks and disgruntled tone in his voice told David otherwise. Exhaustion already looms on his features, as a sigh slips through his lips ( he’s upset ------- play nice ).
❝ Sorry to hear that, dude. I can, uh, I’ll get you a milkshake. ❞
A pause.
❝ You don’t have to pay for it. It’s on me. ❞
