It was for sure that Jensen got the message of the other. As much as Jake tried to joke about and shoot the breeze, Jensen knew that Rogers meant business. 

Then again, so did he. “Positive they noticed.” Last thing Jake wanted was to lose another with good morale. “Look- I’ll do what I can to stall these assholes as much as possible. Just get the goods.” He could at least fuck with the security measures a bit. 

Jensen began to run to separate windows on the laptop, entering code quickly into the one parameter. “Get ready. I’m going to deadbolt them in. It’s about the best I can do.”

The deterrent had a maximum limit of 15 minute time frame on the door, which made it less suspicious but also blew Jensen’s own cover. The less they knew that Steve was there, the better. The most they could do was take him in for questioning with what had been going on with the system. He’d be able to take out the allocated camera files and loop them, but this?

This couldn’t go. He knew they both needed that information. It’s why Jake was here in the first place. “Less than five, Rogers. I’ll be with you on the comms.” Jensen got his earpiece out and had Rogers’ ready to go and waiting as he spoke. “It’s gonna be like a mouse in a maze for a floor or two but I’ll get you there.”

How can we become better supporters of you//your religion?

be open to learning about new things.   do your research on things you don’t know , but also - ASK   !   ask thoughtful questions - if ur sincere there’s no harm in doing so , right   ?   ask about Muslims , even the trivial stuff - how they feel about prayers , what their favourite halal eateries are. send celebratory Eid messages , or supportive Ramadan messages.  SHOW A GENUINE INTEREST.    but more than that , don’t turn a blind eye to the blatant Islamophobia that unfortunately exists in the world. support causes that help people that really need it. reblog posts that raise awareness. spread positivity when possible. donate if you comfortably can , to a charitable cause. don’t lose interest in shit happening across war-torn countries just because it’s been happening a long time now. go to a Mosque , if you can. don’t believe everything you’re told but do your own digging , start conversations and learn from those directly affected. don’t support muses without extending that very support to muns bc they’re the ones affected by everything. don’t follow and use them as a resource , don’t follow and stay silent , don’t follow and think you’re getting diversity points bc it’s not how this works   !

“--Clearly.” Jake didn't miss a beat that the group did head for the wrong person. The grin plastered in half nervousness, laced with the self confidence of a military man was upon his face. “Gun’s in a holster on my left side. Givin’ you a heads up so you don’t think I’m pulling any shit.” It was more courteousy than anything to let the other know.

Jensen brought out the gun, showing it to her with it pointing skyward and away from her the entire time, before he returned it to the holster under his jacket. Jake could adapt to any situation, which is why he did so well. 

He scoffed lightly as he examined one body, analyzing the shots they took while he looked over what they had on them. “Kindness is a favor that doesn't give you shit in return and I wouldn't expect that of anybody. It ain't how the world works.”

Again with the same page. “Hell- if the world was made of kindness, butterflies, rainbows and unicorns none of us would have any problems.” None of the men were who he was looking form unfortunately - yet that would have been far too easy of a kill to have Max go out like that. “We’d all be on some fucking beach with a cold one, am I right?”

Her thought process was understandable, that much Jensen could identify with. Yet with the question itself poised an even more philosophical and sense of endearment to Sooraya. “No. Not everyone does.” Jake’s body language had shifted to a more protective stance.

Maybe it was more loosely used within the Losers team than anything. The sudden feeling of the alienation between the pair felt more prominent, yet Jensen wasn't one to let his own actions slide sometimes. “Look -- if I offended it wasn't intentional. It was meant to be a joke, and--” His speech cut short, as he desperately tried to mend the sudden attributes of trying to fit back in to a normal life after years of military service seemed to gnaw on his conscience, degrading his self worth to the world. “It didn't come out right.”

Drawing in breath, as his anxiety dealt out a lengthy chew of a statement littered with his fragmented past.

Jake analyzed the situation a little better, even if he was skeptical. He had to keep in mind of her age and all that.

“Okay.” He gave Soo a nod, “Glory hole is a term for pride, essentially. So telling someone to shove it up their glory hole is like sticking it to the man or a higher up that’s doing a shitty job. Sometimes you can use it seriously, most of the time I use it as a joke.”

He gave it a minute before he asked, “That make sense?”
