Camelot Remix is back for 2026!
But what’s a remix, you ask?
A remix is where a fanwork creator takes another person’s fanwork and creates a new fanwork which is based upon the original work.
How does this whole thing work?
Basically, you will be assigned someone who has also signed up for the fest and will be asked to remix one of their fanworks, and someone else will be asked to remix yours. We always do our best to match people with someone we think will be a good match, but of course, we can only match you up with people who sign up!

We have received some unfortunate news that a few people who believe they signed up have not received their assignments. This appears to be because for some unknown reason Google Forms did not record their sign up, therefore we were not aware they had signed up when we were matching people for their assignments.
If you signed up for this years Camelot Remix fest and have NOT received an assignment email from us, please email us ASAP at [email protected] where we will ask you to complete the sign up information via email.
We are going to ask people to reach out to us by Friday 13th March. If you contact us after this date we will not be able to include you in this years fest, except in a pinch hitter role.
On Saturday 14th March we will look at the sign up information of everyone who has reached out to us and in the first instance, we will try and match you with each other. If this is not possible due to preferences, we may reach out to other people who have already received assignments, asking if they would be willing to switch out to a different person.
We hope to have everything resolved by the end of next weekend.
If you could help us out by giving this post a reblog to maximise the chances of people seeing this, we would be very grateful. Please also reach out to any friends you believe were planning to sign up to the fest to make sure they weren't affected.

He speaks, too quiet for Gwaine to hear, and when Merlin shakes his head Lancelot draws him into a hug, Merlin’s bound wrists pressed between their chests.
He's saying goodbye, Gwaine can see that clear as day, and from the way Merlin looks at him over Lancelot’s shoulder it's clear he expects Gwaine to be next in line.
Fuck that.
Let Lancelot handle the teary farewells. Gwaine isn't saying goodbye, because Merlin isn't going anywhere.
Or: Arthur decides to banish Merlin for his magic. Gwaine decides he isn't about to let that happen.

How those words affected him, because even just the thought made him want to daydream about their future together. Not just as mates, but as lovers. In this imaginary future he would say yes in a heartbeat.
