Ā Camilla was playing with the lid on her water bottle as she watched the movieā¦or was watching it until he wrapped his arm around her. Then she was promptly distracted. God damn him, she thought. Looking up at him with a small grin she nodded. āYeah I am, Iām glad you suggested it,ā she said softly, her cheeks flushing pink when she realized just how close they were. What if heā¦? she thought, blinking briefly when she realized she would not be averse to him kissing her.
Watching as she turned her face into his, his eyes first met her gaze before dropping to her lips. He realized that he wasnāt happy just holding her, so he instinctively pulled her closer while his free hand reached up, capturing her chin and holding it gently, trying to make sure she didnāt turn away from him as his lips brushed over hers. When he didnāt feel her pull back, he moved his hand to the smooth column of her throat, caressing her skin gently until his fingers were tangling in her hair. It didnāt take much before he was slowly applying more pressure to Camillaās sweet lips, his tongue sliding across them, urging her to give him access.
He had to remind himself that she was a good girl and force himself to pull back before he tried to do something stupid. Camilla wasnāt his ex, thank god, and because of that, he didnāt want to treat her like he had Rochelle. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he continued holding her, though he pulled away enough to see the reaction written all over her face.
A confused look flickered over Camillaās face for all of a tenth of a second until she realized what was about to happen. Her eyes widened slightly just before their lips met, then fluttered closed as the hand not holding her water bottle moved to lightly curl into his shirt. She couldnāt help but shover as his fingers trailed over her neck. She couldnāt hear the movie anymore, not over the pounding of her heart. Once the kiss broke, she stared up at him for a moment, very lightly panting for breath. āā¦.w-wowā¦ā she breathed, a small smile finally breaking through. āThat was nice,ā she admitted quietly. Katieās not going to believe this! she mentally squealed.

Ā Settling back into the couch, Camilla blinked when she felt AJās arm around her shoulders. Smiling to herself as the movie started. She looked down at her water bottle for a moment, her cheeks slightly tinged pink, before she scooted a bit closer. Should I or what? She thought, pursing her lips slightly before making up her mind . Settling back further into the cushions, she very carefully laid her head on AJās shoulder, trying not to snort water up her nose at the movie. āOh I am loving this so far,ā she remarked quietly a few minutes in.
As he felt Cami press closer to him, AJ smiled softly. He moved to place his arm fully around her shoulders, no more of this āitās on the couch, I promise!ā bullshit, but making sure that she knew he was touching her, and that he wanted to touch her. He heard her comment about loving it so far and leaned closer to her ear, murmuring, āBelieve me, it only gets betterā¦ā
He settled in, enjoying the movie with her, his fingers playing gently over the bare skin of her arm. The jokes never got old, but for once, he wasnāt really paying attention to the movie. His mind was swirling just as Camiās soft scent swirled around him now. Drawing a deep breath, he looked down at her and murmured, āAre you enjoying it?ā Hoping to get her to look up at him.

Ā Camilla just gave him a flat stre atthe mention of the Freddy Kruger marathon. āNot mine either, even if one of them happens to be mine,ā she said before giggling softly. āWe can do both, actually, if you want, we can watch this first then check pay per view after.ā Moving to sit down on the couch, sheunscrewed the cap off of her water bottle and took a sip. "I never saw this before," she admitted. "I have two shelves on my bookcase in my room full of movies, but this is one I donāt have."
So, she was planning on being here awhile. That realization was strangely comforting, though he tried to not let it get his hopes up. After all, she might just view him as the creepy older brother. The thought sobered him up, just as he was about to put his arm around her shoulder, and instead reached for the remote. āSounds like a plan, weāll start with Anchorman just so your deprived mind can know the awesomeness of Ron Burgundy, then weāll see whatās on pay per view, yeah?ā
He hit the play button and settled back, taking a sip of his drink and glanced out of the corner of his eye at her.
Aw, fuck it.
Settling more comfortably in his seat, he wrapped an arm around the back of the couch, gently pressing against the back of her shoulders.

Ā Camilla finally felt herself start to relax when AJ came back with the water, a small smirk of her own tugging on the corner of her mouth as she reached for the bottle. āOh Iāll be careful, promise,ā she teased right back. At the mention of a movie, her eyes lit up. āOh I love movies,ā she said. āWell, most movies, I donāt like scary movies a whole lotā¦.I mean, I donāt like watching them, acting in themās a different story altogetherā¦ā Feeling slightly flustered, she rubbed the side of her face and laughed softly.
AJ enjoyed the fact that Cami wasnāt afraid to joke around with him or tease back. So often, it was hard for him to get to know people because they were always so serious. Seeing the smirk lifting the corners of her mouth made AJ relax a little more before settling down for the movie.
"Damn, and I was just about to start a Freddy Kruger marathon," he joked, since the dvd playerās main menu was waiting for him to push play on Anchorman. "Just kiddingā¦ Thereās a time and a place for scary movies, and alone in a hotel room in a strange city is not my idealā¦ not unless someoneās around to hold me." He tried to make it sound like he was scared, but he really wasnāt. He could watch scary movies, but usually reserved them for the month of October. "Is Anchorman all right? Or do you want me to see whatās on pay per view?"

Even if itās not, too late to back out now, I already knocked,. she mentally huffed, tugging on her coat sleeves as she waited patiently. Her head shot up when the door opened, giving him a small smile as he invited her inside. āYeah huh?ā she laughed softly. āMy friend Katie was going to drag me out by the ears if I didnāt get out of the house anytime soon.ā You still should have maybe waited until tomorrow, that voice in the back of her head whispered. Shoving that small voice down again as he asked if she wanted a beer, she shook her head as she shrugged her coat off. āAh, no thank you, Iād rather have water.ā
AJ heard the request for water and smirked, grabbing himself a fresh beer from the fridge before getting her a bottle of water, āCareful now, donāt want you doing anything stupid. Gotta watch it with the hard stuff,ā he said, unable to resist teasing her.Ā
He wandered back to the living room and smiled softly, āI know itās not much, but itās homeā¦ for the time beingā¦ā he said. āI was just about to watch a movie if you want to join me?ā he asked softly. āOr, I think I have a deck of cards somewhere around hereā¦ We could play some card games instead?ā

This is not so different than the coffee shop, Camilla, keep it cool, she thought as she stood in front of AJās door, internally debating if this was a good idea or not. Between Katie and Diego, though, she figured she better do it or they wouldnāt leave her alone. Staring down at her feet for a moment, she took a deep breath and lightly knocked on the door. She could plot how to get Diego back in the morning.
AJ had to admit heād had fun flirting and joking around with Cami, but he didnāt really think sheād come over, much less just to see him take his shirt off. So, when he heard the knock at the door he was a bit surprised, and the thought flashed through his mind that he hadnāt been to the gym in a couple weeks, so he was trying to figure out if sheād evenĀ want to see him without his shirt off tonight. With a sigh, he got up off the couch and grabbed a shirt, pulling it on, not wanting to beĀ that guy that answered the door half naked. Besides, he didnāt want to force a joke on her, he wanted to give her the chance to get comfortable with him and not feel like she had to live up to their banter from earlier.
With a smile, AJ pulled open the door, his eyes lighting up at the sight of the brunette, āWell fancy seeing you here tonight! Come in, come in!ā he said, stepping aside. Once Cami was inside, he closed and locked the door behind her and wandered to the kitchen, āBeer?ā he asked, glancing over his shoulder.
