     honeybadger33333 i can speak for almost all of us... no.

i met daniel at a friends party about 3 years ago. everyone was talking about the formula 1 driver that had decided to drop in. i wasn’t a huge f1 fan but i was caught up on the basics of the sport.

the party was loud with flashing lights and people everywhere. i started to get a bit overwhelmed with all of it so i headed outside to the balcony. i leaned against the railing and looked up at the stars. i was listening to the loud music blasting through the walls when i heard the door to the balcony open. i looked back and it was a man with dark curly hair and a look in his eyes that just made your heart melt on the spot. he gave me a friendly smile, “hey” he said as he walked over to the railing, about 5 feet away from me. i gave him a smile and looked back up at the stars.

“beautiful night isn’t it?” he asked with an australian accent. “gorgeous” i replied. i looked over at him to take some time to analyze his face. handsome. absolutely charming. “i’m guessing you’re the f1 driver?” i asked. “i like to think of myself as a dancer but yeah driving is one of my many hobbies” he said ever so seriously. i laughed. “what gave it away?” he asked. you weren’t exactly sure what clicked in your mind, it was just something about him and how he carried himself. i shrugged and turned to face him. “i’m daniel” he said as he walked closer and extended his hand. “y/n” i said as i extended my hand to shake his.

we continued to talk until almost all of the party goers were gone. suddenly, a guy came stumbling onto the balcony like he was looking for someone. “DANNY!” he yelled. like i said before i wasn’t super immersed in the f1 world but i knew who max verstappen was…. everyone did… the young rising star. my eyes widened when i realized who it was. daniel saw my reaction and his jaw dropped. “you didn’t know who i was but you know who he is???” he asked in utter shock. he was lowkey jealous lol. “oh cmon. its you know…. its max verstappen!” i replied trying to explain myself. “oh cmon its daniel ricciardo!!!” danny said as he pointed to himself. i shushed him as max approached us.

“hey max. big fan-“ i started, but was interrupted by daniel, “liar.” i elbowed him and continued on. “i know you’re completely wasted right now but do you think you could sign my arm?” i asked. daniel was taken aback, mouth open, eyebrows raised. “of courseee!” he slurred. “great! now i just need to find a pen-” i said just as max whipped one out from his back pocket. “mate-” daniel started. “magic!” max said as he displayed his pen that he apparently took from inside the house in an attempt to possibly steal it?

he signed the outer part of my forearm. i turned to daniel after he was done. “no way. THE daniel ricciardo??? holy shit!” i acted out. he smiled and shook his head. “you’re my favorite f1 driver!” i continued on. “hey!” max said. “shush verstappen” i said and turned back to danny “ah yes i love meeting my fans” he said. “can you sign my arm?!?!” i over exaggerated. “i would absolutely love to” he said as he took the pen and signed the inner part of my forearm along with some smiley faces and also added his number. what a slick guy. i smiled and my face probably turned red when i saw his number being written out. “mr ricciardo do you give out your number to all of your fans?” i asked smugly. “how do you know that’s my real number?” he asked. max examined the number. “yep that’s his number” max said. i don’t know what’s more concerning, the fact that max memorized daniel’s phone # or the fact that max was wearing a blonde wig that was poorly brushed.

since i have never met any real celebrities i took a picture with the two of them and we said our goodbyes. i put daniel’s number into my phone and realized that i couldn’t stop smiling.

i posted the photo the next day and decided to crop daniel out a bit so it only showed half his face while the photo focused on me and max in the wig. some friendly fire. soon after i posted it was liked by and commented on by max and danny.

it was a long day of training but you all decided to head to the hard deck for drinks. you ended up getting plastered with jake and a couple others. you vaguely remember singing very loudly with rooster, arguing about nicki minaj lyrics with fanboy, and being under jake as he kissed up and down your body.

you woke up to your head pounding and your mouth feeling like the desert. you sat up and very slowly opened your eyes to sunlight shining into your room. you looked over and found jake laying next to you, asleep. he was snoring quietly and you couldn’t help but smile. you slowly rolled out of bed and found yourself in jakes t-shirt as you walked to the kitchen for some water and aspirin for your head that felt like it was going to explode.

you heard a car pull up to your place and looked outside your window. it was a blue ford bronco belonging to your older brother. you ran back into your room to wake jake up. “JAKE” you said loudly into his ear as you shook his body. he groaned but didn’t wake up. rooster knocked on the door. you put your leg over jake to straddle him. “JAKE FUCKING WAKE UP” you shrieked, as you bounced up and down. he finally opened his eyes and looked up at you.

“y/n?” rooster called out, waiting for you to open the door. jakes eyes widened as he realized who the voice belonged to. “he’s here?!” he asked in shock. “yes he’s here” you said in a hushed voice, getting off of him. “shit” he said, jumping up out of bed. his hand immediately came up to his forehead, feeling the pounding headache. “y/n open up” rooster said, getting impatient. “just a sec!” you yelled out. jake scrambled to find a hiding place while you stuffed his clothes under your bed.

you ran to the door and composed yourself before opening the door for rooster. “it’s about time. are you okay?” he asked as he stepped in with bags of food in his hand. you gave him the ‘do i look okay? i’m hungover’ look. “well i brought you breakfast, you’re going to need it with all the alcohol you drank last night” he said, setting the bags down on the table.

“your a life saver roos” you said as you gave him a hug. “also who's car is parked in the driveway?” he asked, starting to dig into his food. you froze. “oh the neighbor is having family over so i let them park there” you answered. he nodded and wiped his hands on his jeans and walked away towards the bathroom.

as soon as he was out of sight you looked around for jake, hoping he found a good hiding spot. you were looking around in your closet for him when you heard rooster. “WHAT THE FUCK” he yelled. you ran to the bathroom and opened the door. jake was crouched down in the bathtub while rooster held the shower curtain out of the way.

rooster looked at him and then looked at you. “roos i can explain” you said trying to calm him down. “YOU CAN EXPLAIN WHY HANGMAN IS CROUCHING DOWN IN YOUR BATHTUB HIDING????” he asked, turning red. you stuttered, trying to find the words. “we were having a slumber party” jake said as he stood up in the tub. you chuckled but rooster didn’t find it funny. he socked jake right in the face. jake’s head flew back and he covered his nose with his hands. “i’m not stupid. that’s for fucking my little sister” he said as he walked out of the bathroom. 

your mouth was open and you chuckled a little bit. “oh you think this is funny??” jake asked as he cringed at the pain. blood started to trickle out of his nose. you grabbed a bunch of tissues and helped him clean up his face. you examined his face. “i know what your thinking” he said, looking down at you as he leaned against the wall. “and what’s that?” you asked him. “you’re thinking, i hope that my idiot brother didn’t break jake’s gorgeous face” he replied starting to smile. you gently poked his nose. “OW” he screamed. “that's exactly what i was thinking” you said, gently kissing him.

you both exited the bathroom and joined rooster to eat. you gave jake a pack of frozen vegetables to ice his nose as he opened the boxes of food that rooster brought. “i bought that for y/n” rooster said as he eyed jake down. you shot rooster a look and he looked back down at his food. you sat down across from rooster and jake sat next to you.

it was silent as you all picked at your food. “so what... you two like, like each other or something?” rooster asked, breaking the silence. before you could answer he continued on. “jake, really??? he’s a jerk man whore and will break your heart” he said pointing his fork at you. “and she’s just a bitch so i don’t know what you were thinking” he said, moving his fork to point at jake.

jake looked over at you. “yeah your a bitch” he said smiling. you slapped his arm. “yeah, and your a jerk man whore” you said smiling, turning your head to look at jake. you looked back at rooster and he looked like he was going to explode. “Y/N WHAT IS ON YOUR NECK” he yelled. you were confused and opened the camera on your phone to see what he was talking about. there was a bright hickey on the side of your neck. your eyes widened and looked back up at rooster. his eyes were on jake and he looked like he was going to murder him. “run” you told jake, just as rooster lunged towards him. jake scrambled out of his chair and ran behind the kitchen counter with rooster close behind. they were on opposite sides of the counter and shouted things at each other.

after a while of them arguing and running around chasing each other like children you kicked both of them out. “you mean him right?” jake asked pointing to roos. “out” you said pointing to the door. “don’t come back” rooster called out smiling. “you too. out” you said as his smile faded. they both left and you plopped yourself down on your couch and turned on some tv to relax after having to babysit both of them.

you heard someone text you and opened it. it was rooster.

“for training tomorrow meet at the hard deck, be ready for a workout” mav said as he ended the training session for the day. you looked over at phoenix with a intrigued face but shrugged it off as everyone got up to leave for the day.

you arrived at the hard deck and found everyone inside sitting down and talking. you took a seat next to jake and joined in on the conversation. “what are we even doing?” bob asked. “don’t worry it’s probably something we can handle” jake said. “well most of us” he said, adding on as he gestured to you, phoenix, and rooster. you slapped his arm and smirked at him as he put his arm around you.

the door opened and mav walked in and headed towards penny. her face lit up when she saw him and they started talking. “they’re so cute together” you said as the whole group looked over at them as they laughed together. “there is definitely something going on between them” fanboy said looking in their direction. “dude where have you been?” coyote asked. “i’m a slow observer” fanboy replied, taken aback. as you were all gossiping about penny and mavs relationship he walked up to the table.

“aviators. follow me” he said as he headed towards the exit. you all got up to follow him and ended up on the beach. “dogfight football. offense and defense at the same time” he said tossing a beach football to hangman and another to rooster. “we start in 10”

you stripped off your shirt, revealing your dark brown sports bra and put your hair up in a messy bun. you looked over at your boyfriend and found him staring at your chest. “jake.” you said. “mm y-yeah” he responded, his eyes glued to your chest. you inched closer to him and took his aviators off of his face and put them on. “i knew you would do that so i brought backups” he said as he held up his backup sunglasses. you smiled and pushed the glasses up your nose. “your turn” you said looking him up and down. “god please shut up” phoenix said as she cringed. jake took his shirt off and threw it next to yours. you’ve seen jake shirtless plenty of times but you will never ever get sick of it. never. ever.

you started stretching and realized bob was missing. “guys where’s bob?” you asked as everyone looked around for him. “i’m right here” he said as he stood up from a crouching position. he held a tube of sunscreen in his hand. “does anyone want?” he asked, scanning the group. you didn’t hear anything he said because you were in shock. he had pretty defined muscles and a six pack. your mouth was agape as you stared at him. “what?… did i not blend the sunscreen in well?” he asked as he noticed everyone staring at him. “bob. you’re ripped…” payback said, breaking the silence. “damn hangman, looks like i gotta trade you in for bob” you joked. bob wasn’t as jacked as jake but the last thing you expected was for him to look like that. “oh really? you want to trade me in?“ he said as that smirk of his appeared on his face. he slung you over his shoulder and headed towards the water. “JAKE” you exclaimed in between giggles. “you wanna trade me for bob?” he asked again. he put you down instead of throwing you in. you gasped with sarcasm. “i would never” you exclaimed with your hand on your chest. “that’s what a thought” he said as he smiled and took your hand to lead you back to the group.

mav split the group in half. you parted with phoenix and moved to the other side with rooster, coyote, bob, halo, and omaha. you had an understanding for football but have never played it much, only when you were little with your brothers. you lined up next to rooster, making eye contact with jake. you two were extremely competitive so this should be a blast.

it was a few plays in and the teams were tied. “ready to give up princess?” he asked as you all lined up. “not quite” you said as you bent over with your hands on your knees to give him the perfect view of your cleavage as you slightly squeezed your arms together. his eyes travelled down to your chest and lingered. hondo blew the whistle and you ran as jake stumbled out of his daydreaming to chase after you. you waved your arms at rooster to say that you were open. rooster saw you and threw the ball to you as jake charged at you. just as you caught the ball in your arms jake picked you up and slung you over his shoulder again. you held up the ball to your team as they all cheered for you. “that was evil” he said as he put you down. “all’s fair in love and war” you whispered into his ear seductively and walked away back to your team. rooster and bob greeted you with high fives and smiles.

jake scored in the next play and celebrated with his team mates. he pointed to you and smirked. you looked over at phoenix and smiled. you both started to boo him. “BOOOOOOO” you both yelled. “you’re on my team” he yelled to phoenix. “SO??” she yelled back.

eventually it was a tied game again. the whistle sounded and you ran so rooster could throw it to you. but jake had other plans. he ran over to you and blocked the shot. he towered over you so he easily destroyed your chances of getting the ball. you struggled with him to find a way around him. you jumped onto his back and tried to get good positioning. you looked up and saw rooster throw the ball. you and jake froze in your places to watch what would happen. both your eyes followed the ball and it landed in the arms of bob who had a surprised look on his face. “RUN” you and rooster yelled. bob started to run with payback not far behind. “touchdown” hondo said as he raised his arms up. you threw your arms up and cheered. you slid off of jakes back and bragged in his face. you all gathered around bob as he got lifted onto roosters shoulders. you all started chanting his name. “BOB, BOB, BOB, BOB.” he had a big smile on his face as he celebrated.

you all headed back and everyone started to leave. “guess you win this time princess” jake said as he wrapped his arms around your waist to pull you closer to him. “i win everytime” you said as a smile formed on your face. you interlaced your fingers behind his neck and pulled him in for a kiss.
