Dying inside.
I’m not mad at Rob Thomas as a writer. I get it. Kill all your darlings.
But I’m dying inside and that’s all.

Imagine Your OTP 1
Person 1 accidentally gets turned pocket-sized and stays in Person 2’s pocket/shoulder/hair/etc for a while. Harry is person 1.
8. Cook for each other.
This one and the next few might end up accidentally being continuations of 7.
“I think I need a rest.”
Jack stops, slowing to a stop finally and glancing around the lakeside, “Alright, alright,” he agrees, dropping down to sit on a nearby rock, “Seems to be as good a place as any.”
Trudy slumps down to the ground to catch her breath, wiping sweat from her forehead, “I don’t know how you do this. I… I’m completely spent.”
“You wanna rest here for the night?”
“I…” Trudy looks ahead longingly, “We’re still so far away.”
Jack motions to her, “Yeah, but you’re exhausted. Brady is safe, safer than we are, likely.”
“You’re right,” Trudy says in defeat, smiling sadly at him, “God, I’m so hungry.”
“I could catch us something?”
Trudy lifts a brow, “Yeah? And then what?”
Jack looks momentarily offended, “I took care of myself pretty well before, thank you. I can carve it up and cook it.”
Trudy chuckles, “Alright, I meant no offense.”
“Yeah? Well… well, good.”
Jack gets up, walks around the woods for probably less than ten minutes before returning with a long, firm branch, thin and as long as his own body height.
He sits, taking out his pocket knife and carving up the tip of it into a point.
“You did this kind of stuff a lot?”
Jack glances up at her and then nods, “Yeah, actually.”
Trudy looks impressed, “Dal would’ve been proud.”
“Or he wouldn’t believe a word of it,” Jack says and laughs, “No way he’d actually believe unless he saw it for himself. I was never… really… much of an outdoorsman.”
“You didn’t really have to be,” Trudy tells him, her tone soft, “We had others for that. Besides, you always did more than was ever needed, Jack.”
“Yeah, well,” Jack stands up, stopping when Trudy takes his hand.
She stares up at him, expression sincere, “I’ve always been grateful for everything you’ve done, Jack. Everything you sacrificed.”
Jack blushes, then shrugs, “Yeah, o-okay, Trudy…” he smiles sheepishly, “No problem. Okay?”
“Alright.”
“I’m gonna go catch you a fish now, alright?”
“Thank you, Jack.”
