~ THNEED TIMES ~ issue 23
This is an underground paper providing news for what’s left of our fandom.
What’s the Dish, Hummingfish?
~The foreshadowing seemed too good to be true, and yet it was a huge surprise earlier this week when Entre decided to show up at 12′s factory after having disappeared over a year ago. Luckily, diamonds are a pretty girl’s best friend, so he was quite easily forgiven.
~Vanishing boyfriends and spooky reflections aren’t 12′s only problems, because apparently, Ted’s on his way to steal his girl. Get rekt, indeed.
~Although Camp Weehawken has started, registration will remain open for the rest of the summer, so it’s never too late to join the AU!
Paparazzi Pizza
~Swaggermimint finally received her prize from Black-Cat-Angel’s giveaway from 4 months ago: an adorable Lorax doll!
~Ever wondered how artists work their magic? Junior uploaded some Swone sketches for one of his recent updates, and Miru shared a couple art processes for her latest masterpiece.
This Booty Ass Town
~As summer approaches, it’s time to make sure you stay cool in the warm weather. Two years ago it would have been a trip to the Pepsi aisle, but this year Charlie and Uke definitely have the right idea with slushies and traveling in style, though a swim in the ocean would be the ultimate cooldown. Other rad summer ideas include visiting family, buying your brother his favorite drink, and remembering to take your meds.
Street of the Lifted Once-lings
~America was in crisis on May 24th, 2012 because Swag was sick with a cold! Stuck in bed and unable to talk properly, many people swooped in to take care of him (or make fun of him) until he got better.
~The fandom birthday list was created on May 25th, 2012 to encourage us to spread cheer to other fandom members on their birthdays. The list is now outdated (or is it…?) in terms of who’s still in the fandom, but it was a cute idea nonetheless and could still be useful.
~The largest Once-ler fandom collab ever was completed on May 27th, 2012. Started on April 7th, the fandom was invited to submit a full body drawing of the Once-ler, either in his vest, suit, or as his old self. All pictures were then put together in a collage. Links to each separate Once-ler drawing are in the descriptions!
