Since Camp Jupiter is more like a military camp than a summer-recreational camp like Camp Half-Blood. Imagine Reyna, the praetor of Twelfth Legion Fulminata, doing a surprise cohort bunk inspection without notice & sentries but always with formalities.
The legionnaires dropped everything they were doing and lined up, all refused to breathe out loud and show Reyna how tensed they have become around her.
“Where are *insert guy name here* and *insert girl name here*?
Nobody dared to answer, they still do not want to rat out anybody despite Reyna’s terrifying authoritative presence and the suspicious sound of water running down in the shower.
Then a loud but muffled noise from the shower made everything clear and worse.
Everyone else watched Reyna marched towards the door to open it, spilling two naked figures on the floor.
The two unfortunate beings then look up in horror at Reyna who was looming over them. They expected Reyna to shout or yell but Reyna never does yell.
What she does was much scarier, their praetor’s initial glare from the supposed tardiness disappeared and her expressions turned stolid and blank.
“Water is not a very effective lubricant.” Reyna spat without stretching her facial muscles. “If you want to have a quickie, you should have thought about fucking anywhere but in the shower, for example in the Field of Mars.”
And after the most eventful afternoon of the year happened, Reyna returned to her cold quarters, she sighs before closing the door and shaking away the thought of that same old curse that haunts her once in a while.
