Being on the defensive was the last thing on his mind right now, he was taking advantage of the somberness that bubbled up from deep within. Things that he’d been trying to ignore, to try to stay strong instead of curling up into himself and regret everything from that tragic point onwards. Focusing on the good things, was tough, when everything started with a deeply cut death.
